8/24/17: SINHEART update (?!)

I know, crazy. Well, I had some old stuff I'd written a long time ago for the ending, and someone messaged me just because they WANT TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS, and I personally needed to just kind of get the story out of my head, so that's what you got: the ending.

It's still crazy to me that the story got so much support and love. I remember that when I was looking for fics in the FMA archive and ranked them by favorites, this story popped up on the front page, scaring the crap out of me!

It's been a long journey; thanks for being patient with me through it. There's a small chance I'll start writing again now that I've graduated from college and med school apps are done. Don't count on it, though.

7/23/17: PSA

For some reason I keep getting PMs about my Naruto OC C2, The Rare Gem, so here's the thing: if I find your fic, and I like it, then I'll add it. If you send me your fic, to be honest, there's like a 30% chance I'll actually read it, because... why are you so desperate for me to add it? I honestly have no idea why I've been getting these requests. Does being in my C2 give you more exposure or something? Maybe send me some preliminary details, like the summary, so I don't have to click anything before deciding whether I'm interested at all? I don't know...

Also, please keep in mind that the fics included in this C2 are based on literally one person's opinion. Don't take it seriously or personally. I'm just a grumpy old lady with too much Naruto nostalgia.

22-year-old new graduate, she/her/hers, Chinese American, based in California, applying to medical school, grew up on this site and still spend way too much of my life on it

Tropes I enjoy: OCs (Dreaming of Sunshine is the highest standard), self-inserts, time travel, fix-it-fics, character adoptions, etc. I'll read almost anything that's well-written. I went through a slash phase but kind of moved on? I'm a bi woman and don't fetishize yaoi the way I did in high school.

Fandoms: I read fic for almost everything I've ever watched/read/played, but the ones I keep returning to are Naruto, Fullmetal Alchemist, Inuyasha, Bleach, Katekyo Hitman Reborn, Harry Potter, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and the occasional One Piece though I was never actually into that series. I would totally read My Hero Academia fic if there were better OCs for it, but the fandom's still growing.

Pet peeves: weak/poorly written female characters, bad grammar, cheesy syntax/purple prose

I spend most of my time on here, some time on tumblr, and minimal time on AO3.
