I have been a fan of Final Fantasy since as long as I can remember. It started with Final Fantasy VI, titled 'III' at the time of when I played it. I wasn't instantly in love with the game, feeling as if it was going to go downhill quickly, but as soon as I met Locke I realized the game was not going to melt into a pile of excrement. I didn't ship anyone at first, just enjoying such an amazing assemble of characters.

Until South Figaro. When I saw Locke and Celes interact I hooked. I thought they were the cutest thing since Han Solo and Leia, with Celes being more like Han Solo in my eyes for some reason. I loved that Celes was cold, but not necessary like the typical "cold" of girls in like anime or manga (something like that) but because her surroundings and her life in the Empire willed that kind of attitude out of her. I also loved that Locke's easy going, down to Earth Gaia attitude was slowly melting away that cold exterior.

They are probably one of the best couples in the FF series, with Tidus x Yuna and Zidane x Garnet close behind. I feel this way even if they aren't my favorite couple. Why? Because their chemistry and their stories wove together in a pointed way. And I love pointed love. What do I mean by "pointed"? Well, I just mean "obvious".

And then I started shipping Terra with Edgar when I arrived at the Returner's Hideout. I was giddy then by what was said, but then the GBA version came out a few years back and it made me even giddier.

So since Final Fantasy VI is my favorite game in the series, it is my passion to write for. When I first started writing, as you can check from what is left of my old stories, my English and writing skills were...well...below sub-par. It wasn't from the lack of trying, I just...well I just sucked. Eventually I began to improve and I decided to redo some of my older stories that was received better than the others. It started with "Say it Right", which was renamed to "Crimson Rain". I feel it is my pride and joy among the stories I have written. A lot of people seem to like it, and it has shown me that with practice (and patience!) I can achieve my goal—which is to improve always in my writing and English.

I'm sorry for the ramble, but after six years without updating my profile, I felt it was time to add some detail of my history on the site just a bit as well as how my interest became what it was.

~General Things in Relation to FFVI~

There was a long going FFVI petition for a remake, FFVI Remake petition, but apparently this isn't required anymore. Recently it was announced that Final Fantasy VII is getting a remake, and they even showed us a trailer (looks bloody fantastic). But later on Nomura wondered why FFVI and V haven't been remade yet and that they would like to "remedy" that. Hopefully this doesn't mean another screwy 3DS "remake" but a serious one, like what FFVII is getting. That would be amazing! But maybe the petition could still help! If they see large numbers of people calling for it, and maybe in a serious graphic remake, it will happen.
