![]() Author has written 32 stories for Chronicles of Narnia, Rurouni Kenshin, Avatar: Last Airbender, Digimon, NCIS, Redwall, Merlin, Avengers, Mission: Impossible, and Sherlock. PLEASE READ: Okay, now that I've got your attention...*wink* My wonderful beta, Caelum Blue, has been working on an awesome AU concept for the Avatar: the Last Airbender fandom for the past couple years, featuring the Dai Li expanding their brainwashing bag of tricks on a captured Fire Nation soldier after the end of the Siege of Ba Sing Se. However, their guinea pig-rat isn't the common Fire Nation soldier they assume he is. In reality, he's the commander and only surviving member of the northern flank after the last attack on Ba Sing Se, the son of the Dragon of the West, Prince Lu Ten... It's extremely interesting to read and well worth the time, and I'm not just saying that cause I've been betaing the story! Caelum's been having a lot of fun exploring shades of gray characters and situations, and everything from geology to psychology to Real World history has played a role in the development of this fic. So, if you'd like to read some very well written fanfic about characters that badly need some more attention (honestly, Lu Ten dies in canon and the Dai Li are sadly underdeveloped aside from Long Feng), scroll down and click on my favorites. The story is titled Gilded Green. Updating Notices: May 1, 2011: Okay, now I have a complete listing of stories, their status and upcoming chapters/stories on my homepage. Go check it out if you have a question about when a particular fic is going to be updated and is you have questions, feel free to comment or PM me here. Either works. April 29, 2011: I now have a livejournal account. You can find any and all future updates on story status - as well as speculations about upcoming fics - in The Author's Domain, link above (homepage). I'm listed there as spaingal. Feel free to come over and leave comments. March 27, 2011: Updates for the foreseeable future are rather up in the air. I was recently diagnosed with an illness that requires some life changes and I really need to focus on getting back on track with my health and with everything that got derailed when I ended up in the hospital. So be patient, writing is still my stress relief valve, I will be writing, but I can't guarantee any updates. Hey, stingrae here. I've been reading fanfiction here for a long time and I just now signed up for an account. Wonder what took so long...oh right, that thing called procrastination! I know a lot of people here post a lot of personal information on their bio pages. Real name, country/city of origin/residence, age, gender...etc etc. I'm not one of those people. Live with it. I have a lot of interests in what I read and consequently my writing will reflect that. I'm on a bit of a Rurouni Kenshin kick now so that's what I'll be posting for now. I've personally had issues with authors who start to post something and then never finish it or suddenly discontinue the story with no warning. I will not be one of those authors. I will do my best to finish or nearly finish any story I intend to post before doing so and I will not abandon any story I write. Understand this may mean some stories may taper off and not end in as strong a writing style as they started, but as I am a bit of a nut when it comes to my own writing, I will try to avoid this at all costs. Reviews in a positive and constructive criticism light always help, of course! Flames will be laughed at and then deleted and ignored. So don't bother. If you've actually read all of this, then I applaud you and give you a cyber cookie. hands over cookie grin Bye! Avatar-verse calendar: Credit goe to Caelum Blue, my wonderful beta, for sitting down and sifting through many more sites and scattered references in the series itself to make this calendar. She has much more patience than I do. The link is provided below.
