Hello! I'm Anne. I'm Ace, and I think it goes without saying that I love writing; I've been writing since I was thirteen.

The main purpose of my fics is to improve my writing style, so I don't always finish fanfics. A lot of times, I'll get bored with a fandom, or rethink the idea I had, so I'll abandon it (sorry for that! I do try not to do that too often!). Some fandoms are also just hard to write for, like Doctor Who. Getting the Doctor's personality just right is always a challenge, and the wibbley wobbley, timey wimey-ness of most of his adventures are a pain to get straight as a viewer, never mind a writer.

I participate in NaNoWriMo almost every year, so don't expect any updates in November. But feel free to message me if you're curious what I'm working on!

As I said, I'm Ace, so don't expect any smut or PWP in any of my works. I might allude to it, but I'll never write anything explicit.

Fanfiction ideas currently rattling around in my head: (25 at last count, but I'll only mention the most interesting ones)

-Ripples (working title); Harry Potter: a Ron-centered time travel fic. It's a little bit fix-it, because I tend towards happy fics as opposed to drama/hurt filled ones. (working on chapter 2, but desperately need to reread book 3...) ON HOLD

-Soulmate AU; Harry Potter: Exactly what it says. It's a soulmate AU (canon pairings, focusing on Ginny/Harry mostly). (Working on chapter 3) ON HOLD

-Cake Mix; Merlin: A FemMerlin fic (as is my usual) Modern AU. It was based off a prompt, and it basically lets Arthur and Merlin meet in college, though there's less animosity between them in the beginning. Just a fun, fluffy read so far. ON HOLD

-Once again; Grimm: a Peggy Sue timetravel fic that is basically a fix it fic for season 5 and 6. Very firmly Adalind/Nick. Currently (July 2020) at 11 chapters, so I might actually get around to posting this!

-No curse AU; OUAT: Just what the title says, really. Emma is abducted as a child by Rumple and locked in a tower (à la Rapunzel). 12-15 years later, Killian decides to try to find her for the 10k gold reward offered. Captain Swan, obviously. ON HOLD

-Stolen (working title); Vampire Academy: AU in which Rose was stolen from the academy at a very young age. She was found by humans and put into the foster system. She is a difficult child and goes from home to home and eventually runs away at 13 to become a master thief. Meanwhile, Victor managed to abduct Lissa without anyone knowing and has been keeping her locked up. Rose breaks into a house, which turns out to be Victor's, and frees Lissa. (about 1 chapter written) ON HOLD (possibly abandoned...)

-Arranged (working title): The Dragon Prince; After the King of the Dragons is killed, Harrow finds out that Viren stole his egg, and sentences him to death. To appease the elves, he returns the elves and they discus a peace treaty. But the elves don't trust the humans to keep their word, so they demand a more... permanent allegiance between their two species. Rayllum, arranged marriage. CURRENTLY WORKING ON IT

-A Bond Mended is being worked on whenever inspiration strikes, but I still love this story and don't plan on abandoning it any time soon, but don't expect frequent updates.

-A Paths Unwalked is being worked on, I swear. I will finish the current story arch, and then put it on hiatus as I figure out where this story is going and what I'm going to do with it.

-A Bloom in Winter is up on my friend's profile. It's a GoT Jon/Margaery fic, so GO CHECK IT OUT!! Her penname is MaryEvH. We update when RL permits.

-My Flash one-shot series Something New is not a priority to me right now, and will get updated whenever inspiration strikes, same with All That Matters and Letters. Consider them on hiatus.

-Unfortunately, The Wolf and the Storm is on HIATUS because of lack of inspiration.

-My new story I Will Take You Home is complete, but I am working on an epilogue. It might take a while, though.

-And lastly, Living With Emma is, unfortunately, ABANDONED, because I reread what I had and I cringed because it was pretty bad. I've gotten so much better since then, and I just don't like how it turned out. It was a little too Mary Sue for me. I might come back to this at some point, but it's not very likely.
