Author has written 10 stories for Harry Potter, Van Helsing, Bakugan Battle Brawlers, Doctor Who, Underworld, Batman Begins/Dark Knight, Yu-Gi-Oh, X-Men: The Movie, and Bleach. Hello People!^_^ Well, I've finally decided to write something on my fanfiction profile.^_^ Firstly, something about myself. I am currently 18 years old. This is my last high school year and I am hoping to get a Bachelor Degree in Sociology and, maybe, a Master Degree in Psychology. I grew up traveling around Europe, so I can fluently speak and write in English and German and adequately speak and write in French and Bulgarian. I would like to eventually learn either Russian or Japanese. I have a pet cat.^_^ Now, on to more important stuff!^_^ Favorite books: Now, something you should know is that I am more or less a bookworm, ergo - I love to read. So I have a lot of favorite books. Here are some of them: Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Inheritance Cycle, Saga of Recluce, The Count of Monte Cristo, the Guild Hunter series, Sherlock Holmes and many others. Now, for favorite characters: Harry Potter: I can honestly say that I haven't got a favorite character here, though I love using Harry in my fanfictions. Poor boy, I always seem to somehow fundamentally change him, whether it is his appearance or personality...^_^'...Dumbles, whilst mostly a bad guy in my fanfictions, is a great character and I really disliked J.K. when I finished reading "Half-Blood Prince". How could she kill the mentor figure? Very cruel of her, using the character guillotine like that *shakes head sadly* Another victim of J.K.'s apparent need for death is Severus Snape and I am not ashamed to admit that I was stunned after reading the revelations about that guy in "Deathly Hallows". They made me feel kinda sorry for always disliking the guy. Now, as for pairings in the HP universe: Harry should have ended up with Hermione, in my opinion. I have no idea what that girl could possibly see in Ronald Weasley. Oh, and speaking of that redhead - he should have been in Slytherin, the way he sometimes acted towards Harry! Thankfully, fandom allows for massive amounts of bashing of disliked characters and I fully intend to use this to my advantage.^_^ Lord of the Rings: *sighs* As cliche as that may sound, I definitely like Aragorn, both in the books and the movies. But I feel sorry for Frodo for such a great burden being placed on his little shoulders. Way too much. Gandalf...Pretty much like Dumbledore, I think. The mentor and grandfather figure in the books, he is one cool wizard for chasing off the Nazguls and defeating Saruman. ^_^ Inheritance Cycle: Despite the fact that I have yet to read the fourth book - for some unknown even to me reason I am waiting for it to come out in French *shrugs* - I really enjoy reading Christopher Paolini's works. I was immediately fascinated by the idea of dragons and dragonriders and the typical battle between good and evil. My favorite character is most probably Brom. Hmm...I have a feeling that I tend to like the mentor figures in stories...^_^'...I was very much sadened by his death in the first book. Murtagh is my second favorite character in the series and I have to admit - reading about his fight with Eragon in the second book was awesome. I am planning on eventually writing a Harry Potter and Eragon crossover.^_^ Saga of Recluce: I applaud L.E. Modesitt Jr. for writing such an awesome series and creating such a magnificient world. My favorite books are "Cion of Cyador", "Magi'i of Cyador" and "The Order War". Now, I haven't read all of the books int he series - yet - but I also plan on eventually writing a Harry Potter and Saga of Recluce crossover. This, however, will happen some time in the far away future.^_^ The Count of Monte Cristo: Some of my dear readers may have noticed that I am quite particular about the subject of betrayal, having beenthe victim of this atrocious action myself. I absolutely and completely sympathize with Edmond dantes and I admire his patience when he wanted to get revenge on those who harmed him. This book is probably the closest to being my favorite book ever. I wouldn't actually be surprised, if one day i come up with a sudden idea for a fanfiction based on this book.^_^ The Guild Hunter series: Angels, vampires and vampire hunters? How could I resist reading such books? I couldn't. I was captivated the moment I rad that there were not only angels and humans int he book, but also that it was the angels who created the vampires. The first three books of the series "Angel's Blood", "Archangel's Kiss" and "Archangel's Consort" - are very fascinating. Unfortunately, either Nalini Singh has hit a dead end with the series or she is simply experiencing writer's block (the bane of all writers!) because her latest book "Archangel's Blade" didn't really catch my attention. once again, a fanfiction involving the series would not come as a surprise.^_^ Sherlock Holmes: One word - classic. Every single kid in the entire world has at least heard the name Sherlock Holmes once and most have probably seen at least one or two movies featuring that guy. Arthur Connan Doyle was a genius, that's all I can say about the guy. The way he progressively develops the stories and describes in detail the way Sherlock Holmes solves the cases is fantastic. I think all writers should aspire to write at a level comparable to the one used by Doyle in the Sherlock Holmes stories.^_^ Favorite movies: Like with the books, I don't think I have a single favorite movie. Here are some of the ones I like: Star Wars saga, Pirates of the Caribbean, the Underworld series, Wild Target, Hot Fuzz, The Boat that Rocked, Quills, Sleepy Hollow, Love Actually, Der WiXXer(German) and many more.^_^ Favorite characters: Star Wars: From the original Trilogy (what is now IV, V and VI) my favorite character is most definitely Darth Vader. I don't know why, but that guy is simply awesome. Makes the dark Side of the Force look pretty cool, actually. From the New Trilogy (I, II and III) my favorite characters are Anakin Skywalker and Yoda. I mean, that little green guy is so funny sometimes! Especially with the way he speaks. If I had to choose a side, though, I'd either go for Gray - between Light and Dark - or Dark. I simply don't like the Jedi codex. I mean, come on! No emotion at all? Sounds terribly wrong to me...I mgiht eventually write a Star Wars fanfic.^_^ Pirates of the Caribbean: *winces* Okay, I have several favorite characters and they keep changing first place. They are Hector Barbossa (any guy who can wear a hat like that and loves apples is a great guy!), Jack Sparrow(who doesn't love this guy?) and Davy Jones. Yes, I said Davy Jones. The first time I heard his music - the one he either always plays or listens to - I immediately felt sympathy for that guy. He is just a misunderstood soul who is the way he is because of his loss and the betrayal he suffered through. Now, Barbossa - I simply love him because of the apples and Jack. The monkey, I mean. Also, he is played by Geoffrey Rush, which qualifies him immediately as a favorite character.^_^ The Underworld series: Without a shadow of a doubt my favorite character is Viktor. Like Davy Jones, I simply think that he is misunderstood and that in reality he is a caring and loving father. Unfortunately, he had to choose between being and Elder, a warlord and a father and he chose to be an Elder, hence the reason why in the moies his darker and more cruel side is more prominently shown than his fatherly one. I am trying to rectify this in my crossover "Underworld: The Descendant".^_^ Favorite actors: Bill Nighy, Geoffrey Rush, Johnny Depp, Sir Ian McKellan, Kevin Bacon, Sean Connery, Gary Oldman, Meryl Streep and many others. Favorite Anime and TV series: Murder She Wrote (absolutely love it!), Suite Life of Zack and Cody, Suite Life on Deck, Yu-Gi-Oh, Yu-Gi-Oh GX!, Vampire Knight, Bleach, Schloss Einstein (German), Batman TAS and a few others. Stories being updated: "Underworld: The Descendant" Stories on temporary hiatus: "Revenge through Hellfire", "What doesn't kill you makes you stranger", "The Beginning of a New World" and "A Different Perspective". Stories on possibly permanent hiatus: "In Anima Veritas" Stories on permanent hiatus: "Traitorous Love" - IT"S UP FOR ADOPTION! |
