I enjoy the Harry Potter books for the love between Harry and Hermione. I see it as JKR tribute to Romeo and Juliet. And like Romeo and Juliet is has the same message. The hatred, jealousy, greed and stupidity of a few will destroy what we love and then all are punished. Fortunately JKR is still able to write the book that saves Harry and Hermione and changes the magical world for the greater good of everyone. Until then there is FanFic.

As for the books themselves, it seems JKR has written them in the style of a ghost writer for Dumbledore to put the best possible slant on the magical world that he has created, controlled and manipulated for his Greater Good. While claiming to be the Leader of the Light, he allowed Harry to grow up unloved and ignorant of magic and his heritage so he would be weak, broken, empty, and willing to sacrifice himself for Dumbledore's greater Good because he felt his life was worthless particularly after so many had died to save him.

MoF (Manipulative Old Fool) Dumbledore never considered if Harry would be prepared to sacrifice himself for someone he loved; Hermione. Or that there might just be another way to remove the Horcrux scar without sacrificing the host, like using the Love of Harry for his Hermione and a kiss. So he used manipulations to keep them apart.

The sad thing about manipulating people is that you can not lead them by example, because you are manipulating their fears, greed, ambitions, lust, hatred, and bigotry. Using their base will and desires.

Everyone he used was trapped in his web. From Tom and Hagrid, to James, Lily, Sirius, the Weasleys, Neville, Luna, Harry and Hermione, and they never fulfilled or reached their potential or got their happy ever after. He knew Hagrid was innocent but never did anything to get Hagrid his wand back and free him from being just the Keeper of Keys. James and Lily never lived to change the magical world, Sirius was never free until after he died, and Harry and Hermione never kissed and saved the magical world.

Dumbledore's compulsion hex on JK Rowling for His Greater Good has finally failed, and she has come to her right mind. But we do need the eighth book to save everyone. A nice Harry and Hermione with Neville and Luna, time travel redo to fix all the issues, get Ronald to apologize and grow up, redeem Dumbledore and Snape while Harry and Hermione out maneuver, and out Machiavellian manipulate Dumbledore to get him to deal with Voldemort himself and leave Harry alone. Plus to find out about all the missing bits like the Potter's will, what are Hermione's parent's names, who cast the Fidelius Charm in Godric Hollows, and the Riddle behind the Black Family Tree, the Weasleys, Tom Marvolo Voldemort, Dumbledore and Gellert Grindelwald.

My muse insisted that this story idea be written before she would go back to 'Wishing for a friend'. She was looking at an idea for a Harmony story about the ride on the Hippogriff, and while I reread the end of Prisoner of Azkaban, I was surprised by the Machiavellian manipulative way Dumbledore enjoyed messing with, and made fools of, Fudge, Snape, Sirius, Harry and Hermione. The sections in italics in this story come from the Prisoner of Azkaban, and just carefully read what Dumbledore said and does.

At the moment it is just a first chapter plot bunny and I have no idea if and when it will be continued. But my muse has supplied a happy ending for everyone not Dumbledore or associated with the dark lord. Harry gets his Hermione. The Weasleys go through a heart changing experience, sort of, Hermione manages to get through to Ronald, and the real Won-Won gets his Lav-Lav. But you may enjoy it anyway.

The Family Business.

My muse insisted that this story idea be written before she would go back to 'Wishing for a friend'. She was looking at an idea for a Harmony story about the reading of Sirius Black's will which is covered in canon in chapter 3 of Half Blood Prince as an after thought. Read carefully how JKR so brilliantly writes the Machiavellian Dumbledore as he so callously manipulated the grieving lonely Harry to freely say the magic words to generously give his inheritance from Sirius to him for His Greater Good while he distracted Harry by abusing the Dursleys. But what if Dumbledore overplayed his abuse to threaten Dudley and the Dursleys struck back with Vernon finally getting to take his frustrations out on the old goat.

This is only intended to be a short time period story of the events of one night to answer the question is Dumbledore evil. Making it a reverse Reptilia28's challenge twist allowed Death to finally have his say on Dumbledore's Greater Good.
It became a Luna Harmony soul bond as it seems that JKR included Luna as a free spirit in the last three books to give hope in the face of darkness. As without her the Harry Potter story would have had an even darker ending. Complete.

Lily's Diary.

My Muse thought it would be nice to remember Hermione's birthday with a special birthday present. The first one given to her by somebody not apart of her family. But the potential of this diary is limitless to go in many directions. With Hermione and Lily teamed together Voldemort, Dumbledore and the redhead don't stand a chance. Hope to continue the story soon.

My Mother's Love

Set at the end of the Deathly Hallows. After a walk in the forest death accompanied by Hermione hidden under the cloak of invisibility, Harry meets his mother Lily at Kings Cross Station instead of the manipulative Dumbledore and learns the truth about Hermione, No 4 Privet Drive and Dumbledore. HHr NLLL The story tries to unravel why a manipulative Dumbledore knowingly kept sending Harry back to Durzkaban to be isolated, alone, ignorant, abused and weak. Complete.

Harry Potter and The sound of Tears.

A short and sweet one shot for the Harmony moment in HBP when Lavender claims Ronald and Harry follows after the sound of the tears of his best friend to comfort her. Harry does his usual saving thing and saves Hermione with a kiss. Won Won Ronald is tamed by his Lav Lav, with a manipulative unhelpful Dumbledore. HHr NLLL RWLB Character deaths. Complete.

Harry Potter survives first detention with the Toad with Hermione's care and help. Unfortunately the evil Toad does not, and it is all Ronald and Dumbledore's fault. Character death.
