(Okay, so writing hasn't been going well. I've been hella busy, and my schedual just hasn't been fun with college. BUT while I can't say I can post my OWN stories much, I can certainly still read others. As of this update, I've started really Organizing and compliling all the different stories I've read, and going back and ACTUALLY Reviewing them. My reviews tend to be huge, but I've had fun with them.

It's even MORE fun to get responses to those reviews and hear a writers intentions and Feedback! While everything below applies, I'm still happy to discuss and hear different viewpoints or reasoning behind an authors actions.)

Hello there internet and Fanfiction.net.

I had this really big profile going, but I lost it.

I'll put it up as a whole later, but for now, know that I've been reading stories on this site for at least two years now, and have been writing for even longer.

For various reasons, I've decided to start taking my writing, and reading more seriously, and so have started this official fanfiction account.

Things I like: ... there's a lot. I'll make a list of the Movies, Video games, Books, TV shows, Cartoons, and Anime later, but the run the gamut from Action, adventure, Humor, serious and tottally not serious.

Ahem: CROSSOVERS. When done right are full of awesome and funny. Thank you fanfiction.net for having almost all of my Favs.

NOTE: There's a time and place for serious business. Serious Fanfiction is about using other characters and stories to make very legitimate literature. There's no difference between writing fanfiction and writing an original story. That's what makes good art, writing, and fanfiction.

At the same time, some things are written entirely to make people laugh. That's not a bad thing. I like funny stuff as much as I like serious stuff. I just like funny stuff to be well written. It helps make it more funny!

One genre isn't any better than another. It's good writing as long as your intentions are clear and your efforts legitimate.

Things I dislike:

Characterization: IMPORTANT
If you are changing a character, know that the originals probably spent at least a YEAR in development. If you are a real fan of a character, you KNOW it took much LONGER to develop (ie: Tolkien). You know the depths and complexities and just how they shape and affect THE ENTIRE STORY. You know thier FLAWS and WEAKNESSES, and they are just as IMPORTANT as HOW PRETTY THEY LOOK. Because these things are important, YOU WILL NOT SIMPLIFY, STEREOTYPE, IGNORE, FLANDERIZE, GLORIFY, DEMONIZE, OR OTHERWISE TWIST characters that you particuarly like or dislike.
It's insulting to the original author/designer to dismiss events, character traits, or entire characters as unimportant or wrong.

On the other hand: completely rewriting a set storyline and character is a monumental task, and an interesting experiment. It CAN BE DONE, but it takes a LOT OF WORK. (Google: NGE: Nobody Dies. It turns Neon Genesis Evangelion into an over-the-top Giant Robot Show with no grimdark and completely changes the characters, especially Rei*crazyawesome* AND IT WORKS.)

Original Characters(OC's): The above still applies. A perfect character is really boring, and having your awesome character beat up everyone and fix everything "wrong" in the story isn't really a tribute. If it was so good, why did it need to be fixed? OC's are often just shallow and overpowered. Too many make the original unrecognizable. An original character should have flaws, just like any other character. When you make a new character, you're making a whole new story to work into a greater whole, and it should be just as complex and difficult as the original. Twists make a story interesting.

Yaoi: Nothing against Gay or Bi people in reality, I have friends that are both, but what has been done in fanfiction in the name of fangirl hormones is... horrible. I won't write it, and if you want me to read it, it better be Tolkien level. Or you should be able to read it to your parents aloud proudly. (If you get looks of horror, whipped, committed, disowned or grounded when you do it doesn't count.) See the above notes on Characterization.

Go to school. Learn. It's called Spellcheck. I'm not a grammar Nazi, because everybody makes mistakes that seem stupid later, but seriously. Put some bloody effort into it! Why would I care if you don't?
IMPORTANT NOTE:
If you're Dyslexic, officially and medically, I understand completely, but please SAY SO, at least on your profile. I'll try my best to review fairly on the plot, and I understand how hard it is to find Beta readers and the like.

Enough of that, this section is on what I plan to write! Many things are practically dead, but a few remain. As I regain intrest or chapters in them I'll put the names up here.

Hero Academy (working title): (Crossover) A less serious piece that's already going places I never expected. Take a bunch of video game stars and send them to an inter-dimensional school of everything fantastic. It's probably been done before, but the idea stuck with me after I saw a comic about it on deviantart: Bloodrayne, Gears of War, Okami, Mirror's Edge, Final Fantasy 10 (i think...), and Tomb Raider, all in one place! As Okami and Bloodrayne weren't getting anymore sequels at the time (Rayne still isn't ;_;), I just... ran with it. I seem to be following Rayne around, but all I've got so far are scenes and ideas. I'll put the intro up when it's done.

Reflections of Delta: A more serious piece that wouldn't leave me alone as I played through Bioshock 2. It's a little experimental: Speaking through a series of Audio Diaries, every character Delta meets during his quest for Eleanor describing their own impression of the faceless Big Daddy when they meet him in game. I used the "pure good" playthrough, because that's all I have so far. Besides, I always thought it made for a more interesting character to relentlessly do good in the nightmare of Rapture rather than fall to the baser needs of survival. I only have Tenembaum so far, but the rest are coming slowly.

Bleach/Kingdom Hearts Crossover (Title Pending): Some members of Organization 13 wake up in the Bleach World after their deaths, and try to start new lives. Unfortunately, they get swept up into the very beginning of Ichigo's days as a Subsitute soul Reaper. I liked this one, as the characters are really split up in the beginning, and I have the Bleach plot to ride forward. Axel wakes up in Karakura and gets a job delivering pizza (aaaand runs into Ichigo), Saix wakes up as an amnesiac Soul Reaper in Soul Society with emotional control problems (Why does using my Zanpakuto drive me into a berserker rage?), Xion... I admit is very different than her in-game self. She's taken a bit of Sora's goofiness, a bit of Axel's "I'm Awesome" and a bit of Roxa's "I'll improvise."
I've also been focusing on Isane and Unohana because I find thier characters interesting and with the most expansion potential. (Isane performing a Drive Limit with Xion. Unohana fighting. at ALL. Technically she's the strongest all around captain beides Yamamoto, and she's been Captain of Squad 4 since FOREVER.)
At a major stalling point, because I just don't know enough about most of the Organization. I haven't played 368/2 days, or chain of memories (No money no time). Started with Xion, because after all the reading I did on her concept, I kinda felt she deserved more. No Roxas, Sora & Co., Riku or Kairi planned... at least, not directly in the first arc.

NanohaXLilo and Stitch: Members of Riot Force Six go on vactarion in Hawaii. Add Lilo, Stitch, all his "cousins," and possibly Gantu and Dr. Hamsterviel. Result: Hilarity, Explosions, Ohana?
Book 2: Hayate and Wolfen Critter take a vacation in Hawaii?
Book 3: Lilo gets kidnapped by Mid-Childean villians? Add Badassery and oneliners in Russian Accent?
Like the Bleach/Kingdom Hearts, this is on hold because I haven't been able to watch either of the series invoved here! I Havent seen Strikers, and I've only seen the first Lilo and Stich Movie and none of the cartoon! Argh!

NanohaX Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia
Responding to a Massive Dimensional Ripple of sorts, The Riot Force Six (again not certain who) stumbles upon a strange mage who seems to not to be casting spells she's learned or with a device, but spells she's absorbed into her body... A rather more serious story that takes up after OOE and gives Shanoa a new start after literally loosing everything. Again, haven't seen StrikerS, no go.

Beyond Good and EvilXStar Wars: The Clone Wars
Admittedly, this little thing has been gathering dust in my computer for quite a while, but I have a deep love of BG&E and am greatly saddened by it's lack of fanfiction on this site, or anywhere. Then again, it is that good, and hard to duplicate. The basic idea of this story is a Fusion: Hyllis is a part of the Republic, and Obi-wan, Anakin, and Ahsoka are sent to answer a series of unknown attacks on the system that are pinning down the small fleet that occupies the planet. The local general places the blame firmly on a terrorist called the "IRIS Network." As the Jedi and the clones investigate, pursuing the masked IRIS Agent codenamed: "Shauni", they plunge into a conspiracy where nothing is as it seems.
(I planned to follow BG&E's plot for this story, but the possibility of a sequel revolving around the impact of a rouge Infomation network on the course of the Clone Wars intriuged me. Still, I'd need to catch up on my Star Wars to do something like that.)

Star Effect: Mass EffectXStar Wars: The Clone Wars: (Working Title)
Again, probably not that original, but lines and character ideas kept popping into my head. I haven't played any Mass Effect, and don't own Mass effect 2 yet, but I have Female Shepard in my mind that simply refuses to leave me alone. I liked the idea of a Anakin and Ahsoka meeting a woman who forces them to confront the true nature of a protector: one whose duty, battle, and war never truly ends. I always got the impression that Anakin didn't really understand the real weight of a being a Jedi, a protector. That everything precious to him might still burn. That pressure eventually would break Anakin when he had to face it. Shepard, played "Paragade" (Being sarcastic, blunt and mean, yet still doing the merciful/idealistic thing) faces it, and doesn't break. I want to see Shepard force Anakin, Ahsoka, and the Clones to question their ideals, their reasons for fighting. In some ways, the soldier Spectre could be stronger than a Jedi.

There's more, and some with more solidity than others, but all of these are fractured ideas. While I can't stop you from running with these ideas, I'd appreciate if you mentioned me if you manage to finish something out of them.
