Author has written 33 stories for Doctor Who, Peter Pan, and Alice in Wonderland. "The windows of my soul I throw Wide open to the sun." -Whittier- tumblr: madis_hartte My Stories: Doctor Who: "Melody Williams" all started about as I was looking into doing a Rose Tyler character study. It was originally going to be a one-shot, and then it exploded into this conglomerate giant you see before you. I know exactly where I'm going with the plot, and exactly where I've been, so expect a plot that doesn't contradict itself, even though it's filled with time-loops and paradoxes. I have a lot of one shots for the Who-verse as well; they explore the themes to be found in the show, whether that be about death, or romance, or life or sadness. My OTP is River and the Doctor, because I find their love story tragic and beautiful. Alice in Wonderland: "LuttieS Heart" came about while reading valadilenne's "Sunny Disposish", which is an Epic filled with verve, whit, and imagination. It got me to thinking about Bandersnatchii and the Hatter's hat--just what, exactly, is the hat for? Peter Pan: This one-shot, titled "all those stars pausing," stymied from my childhood dissatisfaction of the ending of "Peter Pan." It was my first inkling as a child that life wasn't fair, and even while acknowledging this fact, I've always felt that Barrie could have given us a bit more of a happy ending. My Fandoms: Doctor Who; Alice in Wonderland; Once Upon a Time; Firefly; Harry Potter; The Hunger Games; Sherlock; The Last Airbender/Legend of Korra; Howl's Moving Castle; Spirited Away; Fire and Hemlock; Twilight. Expect any one of these to crop up in my stories at any time. About Me: I am a Christian, saved by grace. I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, that he died for our sins, and that he rose again on the third day. Me being a Christian does not mean that I will belittle you if you are not, or that I will look down on you if you happen to have a different opinion than me. I may not agree with you, but everybody disagrees with someone about something. Otherwise we'd all be the same, and where's the fun in that? I want to be an author someday, with an actual paycheck and everything. I love words. If magic does exist in this world, it'd be in the poetry. I read a lot. |
