 Author has written 20 stories for Paradise, Harry Potter, and Bonanza. Hi everyone. I'm an avid reader and love to write stories of my own. I enjoy reading about families with children, any story set in the old west or pioneer era as well as modern day. My purpose for writing is for fun and to bring back some of the stories that have good values and family love in them. My author name has changed from Jasper's Mom to C.C. Squirrel. Jasper was my fur baby but he died November 6, 2019. I decided to go with a new name. I use parental discipline geared toward the era of the old west in my Paradise stories. This is not to offend anyone. It is my belief that at times, strong measures were needed to teach children instant obedience. They required obedience to save the children from harmful situations. Discipline was harsh in those times. ...I will use the term "whipping" but that does not mean using an actual whip. Most corporal punishment will be with a hand or belt and less than twelve smacks. At no time will a child be left with welts or bruises by a parent. (That would be abuse even in fictional children.) In the other stories, I do have the occasional use of corporal punishment for fictional (make believe) children. Warnings are posted on the summary of each story. Anyone familiar with European culture will know the boarding schools used to CANE students up until the 1980's. The world of Harry Potter is FICTION. Don't read the story and complain about spankings with the warnings posted. You were warned it would be there so if you have trouble with spanking children under the age of 18, don't read the story. The pictures for the Paradise stories show the cast of the TV series Paradise which starred Lee Horsley as a gunfighter turned guardian of four children. The original characters from the series are not all in my stories, however. At this time the stories are about the relationship between the single uncle, his sister's four children and the adopted teenage nephew of a close friend. The stories show their adventures together. Àt the beginning of the series, Ethan Cord is extremely new to parenting and it takes time for him to adjust to having sole responsibility for his inherited family. He has to learn to ease off the strict disciplinarian gunfighter role and learn to be a Dad. Come join in on the fun and mischief in Paradise. The stories are set in the late 1800's /early 1900's. Please keep that in mind when you read. Everyday life and raising children was different in those days. Please take time to review the stories. Severus Snape takes a different role in my stories beginning at the end of story one. I also have one Bonanza story and I have the following stories based on the TV western Paradise/ Guns of Paradise. Paradise is a story similar to Bonanza, set in the old west days and a family story. The Paradise stories can be read individually or as a series. I have numbered them to show the order if anyone wishes to read as a series but it isn't necessary to get the story. They follow a storyline of a single man inheriting a ready-made family. These stories are following Ethan Cord ex-gunfighter turned lawman and his five children. His sister's four children and later he is raising a friend's nephew also. Beginning with story #10, Ethan is now married. Anyone who enjoys stories in the Bonanza, Little House on the Prairie or Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman era would relate to Paradise. It's a similar type of series.
