If you're reading this, you've probably either read one of my stories or I've read one of yours. So . . . thanks! for either reading mine or for providing good reading material that I enjoyed.

Also, freaking hell! Don't send me private messages asking what my stories are about. Read them and find out! Or check out the tropes page if you're too scared to invest time in reading the story. And do not request pairings for Dauntless and Weapons of Mass Destruction. You do not start a story of that magnitude without already knowing where its going. And just 'throwing in a couple scenes of so and so fluff' just because a reader asks me to with someone who's not even remotely likely to fall in love given the circumstances is just really really annoying. Both Dauntless and WMD are general fics that do not focus on romance. Eventually, WMD will turn a bit more romantic, but you're pretty much SOL for Dauntless since that's not the main focus.

Just a heads up to all of my readers, March is going to be a stupid month. All of my coursework is due at the end of the month and I've gotten a bit behind. So I'm taking the month off from writing both Dauntless and WMD (I know, it's stupid to start a new story then go on a hiatus). I really just don't have the time to write and focus on my coursework and work at my new job (which isn't brainless, so therefore again cuts into my writing/plotting preparation).

So if I don't update for a few weeks, don't panic. I'm not abandoning Dauntless or Weapons of Mass Destruction. I just need to take a time out for real life.

Or myabe I should just make Komo's DA page into the 'my homepage' button on my profile. I would venture that the majority of the pieces on there are Dauntless fanarts and all of them are lovely. . . No, I probably wont do that.

Anyway, in other news, 1 paper down, 1 presentation to go (which I haven't even started yet. oops!). I'm also like 2.5 pages into the next chapter, but I'm going to have to buckle down and do this presentation, so Chapter 52 will likely take a while to come out. My presentation is on the 13th. So I have 9 days to make it awesome (-.- not a lot of time when I put it that way. eek!). So yeah, I probably wouldn't expect an update until after the 13th, though you never know and miracles do occasionally happen (like every other time I've ever told you that a chapter's going to be postponed and I end up uploading it a day later 0.0).

So yeah, that's what's happening. If I don't update for like a week and a half, it doesn't mean I've died or fallen off the edge of the earth, it just means I'm pretending I'm a diligent student.

. . . I'M NOT DEAD! Or critically injured. Or ill. I'm just distracted. It is Reading Week (Spring Break to those of you who actually get spring this early in the year) and I did warn you that this chapter would take longer to come out. I'm not sure what all to put up on here. A lot of people make their profile like ten pages long and fill it with random useless crap and 'copy this into your profile if you think this!' crap. I wont be doing this. However, I would like to let you in on my pet peeves since if you're reading this you're probably bored and will most likely scroll down to my stories anyway before getting too far. Aside from flamers, one thing that severely annoys me is when people add your story to their favorites list and then don't have enough common courtesy to review. I mean, I understand just sticking something on alert if you're in a hurry or the story's not all that good but has still caught your interest, but if something is good enough to make it onto your favorites list, I think you as a reader owe the author at least a review to let them know you really liked it or something. If it's good enough to be on your favorites, you ought to be able to come up with something to say about it.

Anyway, that's my random rant for the day because I've been noticing this a lot with Dauntless. Not that I don't appreciate it if you add it to your favorites list, but at least tell me something about how you interpreted my story or how the characters made you feel or something. It's really not that hard.

Yeah, so . . . about Abdication . . . lol. I haven't quite given up on it but if you assumed it had gone on hiatus, you would probably be correct. I discovered Code Geass and it has taken over my mind for the time being. Good news for all you Code Geass readers though, is that updates should be fairly quick as I can't sit down at my computer without typing several pages each night. So look forward to Dauntless for now and I'll probably get back to Abdication after I finish Dauntless and get it out of my system.

Thanks so much for your patience. And thank you for reading my stories. Code Geass has to be the best fandom for reviews that I've ever discovered. Either that, or my writing just got significantly better. lol.

Okay, so I recently became enthralled by Death Note and have begun writing stories in that fandom. You can, for the most part, consider all other in-progress works on hiatus because I really don't have the inspiration to write in any other fandom. Although I am considering just uploading all the chapters I already have completed for some of the stories I have up. In fact, I'm pretty sure I'll do that. Just please understand that I'm no longer writing in Twilight, LotR, Harry Potter or anything else but Death Note at the moment.

So the premises for Abdication came to me suddenly two days ago and I wrote out the first chapter in a massive rush of inspiration thanks to a surprisingly benevolent muse (for once). I don't usually write like this. Usually I have the story mostly completed before I decide to upload it, but I haven't uploaded anything in ages and so something has to change. Here's hoping that I finish it. :D
