![]() Author has written 9 stories for Harry Potter, Avengers, and Sherlock. All pictures from Digital Art Gallery The new stories are ones that have also been sitting around on my computer that I work on when I'm stuck on another more active story. I work on what I have the most inspiration for, and oddly enough, when I'm getting inspiration for one story, I suddenly have it for one(s) that I was stumbling over. These unpublished stories could take many, many months to be published. Unless people show some interest in them they will be mostly dormant. 8/27/14 I've been working on the stories as I have time at work, i.e., I'm writing them out, so I'm not sure how long it will take me but I'm still alive and active. 6/11/15 Stories can be adopted, see Active Story Chapter Update Status . 8/8/16 If there is a (/) on the end, that means it has yet to be published in the case of the crossovers only. Number (%) key (Roughly 2000 words in 4 pages to give you a starting point) 0= notes 1-5= little text 6-14= several paragraphs 15-35= one or more pages (less than 4) 45-50=over 3 pages 51-70= 4-5 pages 71-89= 6-7 pages, longer chapters will be at the 10-11 page mark by this point (these are over generally 4,000 word chapters) 90-99= Finishing up and tying things together, some editing, or more thorough editing 100= Finished Active Story Chapter Update Status: All current stories published before 08/08/2016 are up for adoption. I have lost interest in HP and do not know when or even if I will get back into it. If/when I do, massive rewriting will occur. I still have all the original copies, but beware; some aren't as proofread as what is posted. Anyone can adopt the stories, just let me know so I can make a list of who adopts what so readers can more easily find them please. There can be multiple adoptions of the same story. The numbers are indications of how many have adopted the story. (Crossovers) Seidr Legacy: From the Shadows: When Worlds Collide:
(Harry Potter) Tripping Through Time:
A Night Visitor: New World, Same Problems:
Heart of the Assassin:
When and Where It All Began: To Love a Monster: The Necromancer: The Heart of the Matter: The Basilisk's Phoenix:
Son of the Light, Daughter of the Dark: To Love a Monster: Not yet published (see full summary below) 9/12/14 Tom Riddle: the resident monster of 1944 Hogwarts, not that many knew that fact. Audrey Potter: reluctant resident hero of 1997 Hogwarts, everyone knew that. Combine the two and what do you get? A screwed up timeline for one and a seduction for another. Will be a dark story, no turning Tom good. The Necromancer: Not yet published (see full summary below) 9/11/14 Necromancer: a being with the ability to raise the dead. From a young age, Harry knew he was different, now, faced with Dementors, the truth is revealed. With the drama of Third year, Harry has little time to explore his growing powers. His Fourth year is little better, in fact, it is worse in many ways, yet his powers grow in leaps and bounds due to necessity. There is little worse than a Necromancer unable to control their power. Now Harry must embrace the legacy of the Peverells, and unlock the greatest secrets of all: the soul... and death. The Heart of the Matter: Not yet published (see full summary below) 9/11/14 Horror, that was all she could feel. Staring at her reflection, she felt tears well in her eyes, nothing would ever be the same again. Levina Potter thought that the Chamber of Secrets fiasco was over, she was wrong. Now in her fifth year, she begins to realize that what she had been ignoring since that night could no longer be ignored. The Basilisk's Phoenix: Not yet published (see full summary below) 8/26/14 Victoria Potter, Gryffindor’s golden princess, was sick and tired of the acting she constantly had to do. She was sick of lying through her teeth and playing along with Ronald Weasley’s immature attitude, not to mention her bossy female friend. Victoria wanted out of the Lions' den and into the Snake pit, but had no way of doing so, or so she thought. When certain manipulations come to light, Victoria is faced with a choice: stay a weapon of Dumbledore’s or break free. A high price needs to be paid for the latter, one that she must risk her very soul to achieve, yet it is her only real chance to have her freedom…if she survives that is. Son of the Light, Daughter of the Dark: Not yet published (see full summary below) 8/26/14 Harry Potter wanted a second chance…he got one, but it wasn’t what he had been thinking of when cursing his fate and making a wish. Then again, they do say to be careful what you wish for, because you just might get it, only to hate it. From one world to the next, from one time to the next, Harry embarks on an adventure like none other he has been on. Both new and old faces haunt him as he struggles to find his place in this new and both familiar and alien world. It isn’t until he catches the eye of Voldemort’s only child, his precious daughter and heir, that he realizes no matter where or when, both he and the Dark Lord would always be connected in some way…and that Voldemort would want him dead, whether it be from a prophecy, sheer irritation, or as a father trying to keep his daughter single. Unfortunately for our young hero, he managed to nail all three. Teasers To Love a Monster Audrey Potter-Black stared down at the crumbling body of Voldemort in a sort of shock. She felt curiously empty, as though her emotions had been ripped away from her with the death of the Dark Lord. ‘Finally, finally it is over.’ She bent down and took Voldemort’s wand, not willing to let it fall into some psycho’s hands. All around her people were cheering and trying to touch her. She shrugged off the grasping hands and stumbled when her foot caught on a loose stone. The Ministry of Magic was a wreck, the scars of a vicious battle littering the floor, ceiling, and walls in almost every room. It was ironic that she killed Voldemort here rather than at Hogwarts. Though perhaps that had more to due with the fact that Hogwarts was Tom’s first home and he didn’t want to risk destroying it in battle. She felt the same way and knew that she would never have wanted Hogwarts to be the site of battle, especially one so devastating. Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley on the other hand… She shied away from those tragic memories, if she didn’t she’d probably end up losing it. She pushed her way through the crowd and the smarter and more respectful witches and wizards made sure that they stayed out of her way. She managed to make it to Kingsley with some difficulty. “I need to be alone for a bit.” She said nothing else and the man nodded in understanding, awe and joy glowing in his eyes, just like all the others who fought for the Light. Yet beneath the elation of having finally won the war, darker emotions crept up. Fear, anger, and heartbreak threatened to break free and destroy the joy and awe. Fear of what would happen next, of what needed to be done. The anger aimed towards the Death Eaters and Voldemort. It was the heartbreak that leaked through the most, the cost of winning finally settling in and weighing down hearts. “Take as much time as you need.” Audrey closed her eyes briefly and walked through the atrium and towards the floos. Some tried to stop her, but they were held back or given a dark look to prevent that. She tossed in a handful of powder kept in a small dish attached to the wall and murmured “Hogwarts.” With a swirl of green flames, she disappeared and found herself staring at a portrait of Professor Snape. Headmaster, not Professor, she amended silently. Stepping out, she sat in a chair facing the desk and took a shuddering breath. Audrey began crying as it suddenly hit her that it was over, that the war had ended and with it countless lives lost. She wanted to see Ron and Hermione, all of the Weasleys and the Lupins. But they were all dead, killed months before. The attacks on Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley had ensured that. Only Teddy was left, her darling Teddy. A small smile stretched her chapped and bloody lips at the thought of him. She would do anything to keep him safe, anything. Her heart hurt so much and it felt like acid was crawling up her throat. Lurching forward, Audrey barely managed to conjure a bucket before she threw up. It felt like hours had passed when she finally stopped and vanished the bucket with its contents. The Necromancer Harry Potter shivered and barely restrained a gasp as a bone deep cold permeated the small area. His friends were shivering and cringing as the intense cold grew stronger and the lights’ flickering grew more erratic. Crookshanks was hissing and spitting, his ginger fur standing on end, looking quite like a classic Halloween cat on a fence or something. Hedwig wasn’t on the train, having sent her ahead so that she wouldn’t be cooped up in a cage or inside the train. Harry felt something that he had buried so long ago stirring and reaching out towards the approaching mass of pure black he could sense nearing them. He clenched his hand around his wand in dread and anticipation. The cold was painful, feeling like shards of ice were attaching themselves to his skin. Yet the more the buried thing within him emerged, the less the cold seemed to affect him. There was an odd rattling sound, like someone struggling to breath and the door to the cabin suddenly displayed a shadow looming on the other side through the small amount of glass that was on the sliding door. Normally the glass was frosted like in restaurants, but now it was completely iced over like the window. He wished that he had stayed in the cabin with the new professor rather than seek out a different cabin. Now they were in the front of the train near the Prefects’ cabin, an area few students liked to venture, while the professor was at the end of the train. The door shook and rattled as it was forced open and Crookshanks yowled and spat, bearing his fangs as he did so. Hermione screamed and cringed away from the horrific sight silhouetted against the light from a nearly full moon. Harry’s heart began pounding and a cold sweat broke out on his skin as his body prepared itself to either flee or fight for its life. He knew that there was little he could do against a Dementor. He was actually quite studious despite what everyone else thought. He had come across a section about Dementors when looking at a book full of magical creatures. The Heart of the Matter Pain, her world was pain. Deep, soul deep, pain. Everything hurt, her fucking eyelashes hurt. Short and rapid breaths sawed in and out of her lungs that felt like they were inhaling fire. Levina Potter whimpered and curled into a ball, her fists clenched and her nails digging into her palms. It was worse than the time when she was bitten by the basilisk, worse than the Cruciatus. She wanted it to end, to die, anything to end the pain. A scream tore itself from her throat despite her best efforts. Determined not to give her relatives another excuse to punish her, she turned her face into her pillow and screamed into it instead. She thrashed, somehow managing to keep her face covered enough to muffle her screams with a hand, blanket, mattress, or pillow. Her back felt like it was being cut open slowly and her skin like it was simply being ripped off. Her teeth…don’t even get her started on her teeth. Levina coughed as she choked on blood. A coherent thought broke through the haze of agony briefly. ‘Wait, blood?’ Something solid hit her tongue and she weakly spat it out. This ended up happening several times actually. She rolled off of the bed while somehow managing to bring her pillow with her in the process. It wasn’t long after she did so that she fell into sweet oblivion. Where and When it all began Salazar Slytherin hissed in annoyance when a loud banging on his door startled him. He was in the middle of a delicate potion experiment and couldn’t afford any mistakes at this stage. He anxiously checked to make sure that it wouldn’t explode before stalking to the door and practically ripping it off of its hinges. Gryffindor stood on the other side. He wanted so dearly to curse the blond idiot as his anger at the narrow-minded man grew in leaps and bounds. “We need to talk, let me in.” Salazar arched an eyebrow and against his better judgment, let the man in. He foolishly ignored the growing sense of doom that entered his heart. He liked to pretend that he didn’t have that particular organ most days. “Fine. Wha—.” He got no further as Godric Gryffindor came charging through his door and into his potions lab. A sinking feeling hit his gut and he took several deep breaths to calm his temper before turning to the cause of his stress and anxiousness. “Most foul news has reached my ears Slytherin.” Salazar gave the blond man a death glare in response. “News of you teaching students Dark magic.” Salazar sneered in disdain. “There is no such thing as Light and Dark magic unless you involve intent Gryffindor. There is only power and those too weak to seek it.” The blond growled in anger, tawny eyes flashing with ire. “So it is true!” The man roared. Gryffindor lunged forward and took a swing at taller but slimmer man. Most men were slimmer than Gryffindor who looked like he was on what would one day be known as steroids. Gryffindor narrowly missed the wooden table with the potion bubbling away on it. Salazar leapt back, disbelief and horror followed by rage surging through him. “Are you out of your mind! I am in the middle of a delicate potion and you nearly bumped the table! Out, get out!” The Basilisk's Phoenix Victoria grumbled to herself about being forced to clean no matter where she went. She kicked at the old couch, cursing and hopping on one foot when her ratty trainer did little to protect her toes. Sighing, she wandered over to the large cabinet on the other side of the room. She frowned, cocking her head to the side as she stopped walking. Was that hissing? Her eyebrows furrowed, and she took several steps forward. The hissing grew louder. Suspicious, she cautiously crept forward, peering in through the dirty glass in the cabinet doors. Reaching forward, she made sure that the cloth she had been cleaning with was the only thing that touched the handle. Victoria slowly opened one of the doors, wincing at the creaking noise it emitted. Her eyes roved over several items, but only one caught her attention. Unlike all of the other items, a large gold locket with an S made out of emeralds lacked the grimy look of years of neglect. It shone and glowed ever so slightly in the dark shadows. The hissing was almost enough to drive her up the wall, growing more and more insistent. Reaching out, she picked it up with the cloth, and carefully retracted her arm from the cabinet. The hissing paused slightly, before practically shouting at her. She couldn’t make out what it was saying, the hissing not clear enough to understand. A feeling of loneliness and dark, so very dark magic washed over her, and she looked at the locket in suspicion. She had felt this before…but where…the Diary! She flung the locket away from her with a scream and scuttled to the other side of the room, covering her ears as the foul menace began screeching. Curling into a ball, her head against her jean clad thighs, she grimaced at the horrible noise. "Shut up!" The locket stopped hissing and she cautiously uncurled herself and slowly lowered her hands from her ears. The hissing was quiet now as it started up again, it sounded curious and happy. Not sure what to do she sat against the wall, leaning her head back and closing her eyes, legs tucked against her torso and arms encircling them. “Victoria!” Sirius shouted from down in the kitchen, rushing out and knocking people over in his haste. Remus was right beside him, his eyes starting to glow gold with the wolf panicking over the very thought of its cub being hurt. Thundering footsteps and shouts reached her ears as she stood. She glanced at the locket and made a split second decision that would change her life. Running over, she scooped it up with the towel and stuffed it into a pocket of her sweats. The door burst open not two seconds later and Sirius, Remus, and a hoard of Weasleys came pouring in pale faced and frantic, the adults’ wands at the ready. Son of the Light, Daughter of the Dark Harry James Potter spat dirt out of his mouth, rolling over onto his back. He simply lay there, dazed and nauseated. His bright green eyes and now straight black hair made him look impossibly pale. He groaned, biting his lip and taking deep breaths to stop his stomach from expelling his lunch. Harry waited until he was sure that his stomach wasn’t going to betray him before he sat up slowly. He looked around in confusion, then down at his body. Harry would forever deny the girlish scream he emitted when he realized that he was no longer in an adult body, but that of a boy. Harry groaned, flopping back onto the grass. At least he was still a boy. A sickening sensation clawed at him. He didn’t know whether to be pleased or horrified. He conjured a mirror wandlessly, and stared. He stared and stared, rubbing at his eyes that did not need glasses apparently. He didn’t recognize the person staring back at him. He looked to be about eleven years old, but he was more muscled than he should be at that age. His once uncontrollably messy hair was now sleek and straight, falling down into his eyes, eyes that were no longer the color of emeralds, but the color of the Killing Curse. His face was angular rather than the more square shape it had once been. His skin was darkening before his very eyes, going from sickly white to a light golden color. Lifting his hair he cursed, dropping his hand back to his side. He fisted his hands, pissed that even after all of these changes his fucking scar was still there. Dreading the answer, he pulled up the sleeve of his now way too big robe and felt like crying. Yep, the scar from the basilisk was still there. He didn’t bother to look to see if the other scars were still there or not. Harry stumbled to his feet, balance thrown off from sudden dizziness and height difference. He vanished the mirror, checking his holsters for his wands. Luckily they were both there. He pulled off his robes and stuffed them into the mokeskin pouch given to him by Hagrid. He resized the clothes he had been wearing under the robes and his shoes as well. Harry grabbed the invisibility cloak and made sure that it covered every inch of him before he apparated to Diagon Alley. With the slightest of pops, Harry reappeared in a small side alley branching off of Diagon. Taking off the invisibility cloak, he thanked the gods that his new hair hid his scar. Slipping out of the alley, Harry meandered down the street, ignoring the looks girls were shooting him. He spotted a newspaper and discretely snatched it. He took one look at the date and nearly passed out, horror and shocked disbelief shooting through him. August 1, 1971 | |||||||
