Once my new beta finishes with the chapter, I'll have an update for Bonds. I'm slowly recovering from some pretty rough emotional stuff, but I'm finally getting back into the joy of writing.

Losing my mother to cancer two years ago (11/02/2017) was the worst time of my life, and it has impacted everything since. I have struggled with grief and other hardships since, and I don't think I would have recovered from it at all if I hadn't had my dad, my brother, and Ascaisil/her babies. I would have wanted to die. Sometimes I still do. But I've always used writing to express myself and cope with my pain, and it's finally something I can say I love again.

Thank you everyone for all your faves, follows, reviews, and support. You're a wonderful spot of sunshine, and I haven't forgotten anyone.

(I will read/write either as top, trade off, in a platonic soulmate love, you name it. I prefer Luffy as the dominant personality in any of those situations though. This is my favorite pairing for Luffy and the most likely one you'll see me write for.)

I have been getting some concerns about my plans for shipping in my stories. To clear it up, YES, there will likely be shipping in my stories. NO, it will not be the main focus unless the genre is romance. I prefer nakamaship and subtlety for my One Piece relationships. Generally speaking, if I label a story as NON-ROMANCE genre, none of the ships will be explicitly stated or featured in the story.

Since I get this question a lot, BONDS OF SEA AND FIRE will have TWO romantic pairings. Neither include anyone from the ASL trio, and neither will be a "focus" unless I am writing a side story to be posted separately.

I adore ASL. I love the three of them to death, and will read most fics about them. If you love ASL (especially Sabo), go read anything written by Beyond Kailani. She's wonderful. I used to beta-read for her before I stopped having time to be a person and she's absolutely lovely. Seriously what are you doing here? Go read her stories. Bonds of Sea and Fire - ASL epic AU story involving Whitebeard Pirates :) *coming off hiatus as soon as I can recover from my depression*

Asunder - Coming someday... ASL epic AU story where Ace is raised by Rayleigh and the ASL trio never met as children :) *In production*

A Distant Promise - Coming eventually... an AU ASL story (so vague, amirite?! Let's just say it was inspired by chapter 794 and my lovely beta, Kailani-chan throwing AU ideas around with me) *In production*

Gathering Stars - Was going to be for an OPBB but I think it's just going to be a standalone now? For Shishiswordsman because it was her prompt but it's been so long and my life is in shambles. AU where the ASL trio is tiny and things are sad and I am a monster.

ROMANCE GENRE:

Inviolable - Coming someday... Lawlu epic AU story revolving around Law finding a severely injured Luffy and bringing him home to treat him. VERY long and involved plot with multiple pairings. *Took a backseat to all my ASL AUs for now, sorreh*

Azure and Ash - My entry for the OPBB challenge on tumblr which has artwork to go along with it :3 Marco x Ace and brotherly ASL focus. Implied Thatch x Izo. *COMPLETE*

Burn With You - Coming eventually... Soulmate AU featuring Marco x Ace as the main pairing, Sabo x Koala as a secondary pairing, and Thatch x Izo on the side. Implied Luffy x Law for the sequel
