So, it's been ages since I've been active at all. Mostly because senior year is way, way more tiring than I thought and I've had way less energy and time to put into my fanfiction. What I am going to say, however, is that I'm kinda sad that my stories weren't really continued, so there is the possibility that I may be continuing them, come March. Sexual Orientation Bashing

I'm asexual, calling my gay or homo or fag is gonna do nothing. Additionally, it shows a lot of immaturity, ignorance and stupidity on your part. And to further prove my arrogance, superior brain functions, superior knowledge, and utter awesomeness... Gay meant happy, then promiscious and STRAIGHT, and THEN homosexual, which is weird and proves that very homophobic people are irrational because that jump does not make sense. Fag is a cigar, and faggot is the same. You cannot reasonably use homo as an insult because its a Latin root meaning 'same'. If you use homo, it cpuld be misunderstood as: homosapien (which I am), homophobic (which I'm not), homoerotic (which means you are a biologically female pervert who is physically attracted to me, and that doesn't make sense unless you are stalker and should be arrested), homogeneous (which means you need to go back and relearn chemistry), homozgous (which means you are probably refering to my XX sex chromosomes), etc.. There are plenty of other reasons, including how you are a narrowminded prick, but I won't bother because your tiny, unused cerebrum will not be able to remember and your underused prefrontal cortex apparently can't form proper judgements.

Religious Insults/Damnations (or however its spelled)

I don't believe in God and my way of life pretty much means that I think everyone is selfish and a cynic. Also, tell me where the Bible explicitly says what you are talking about first, as well as where is mentions people going to heaven or hell. Last I checked, God says in Genesis to Adam and Eve something about returning to the dust from which they were born. And if you quote it, quote the KJ version of it, I can't read Latin. Thank you. "God says so" is not good enough of a reason either, cause God also said you become dust when you die and you aren't allowed into heaven, but apparently no one believes in that!

Romantic Orientation Bashing

Since I don't even know my romantic orientation and you most likely do not know me, this is considered barely worth my time. It's another show of childish ignorance.

Death Threats/Death Demands (is that what they're called?)

By doing this, you are proving all my beliefs justified. You are ignorant, idiotic, childish, narrowminded, and, not to mention, a criminal. Some people take words such as 'go kill yourself' seriously. So well done! You are now a criminal, regardless of whether or not I actually go and kill myself, because you have conspired to commit indirect murder/broken the law and proved that you are 'touched in the head' and should be sent to jail for the betterment of society. Did you know that? Now you do. And such people are more like gum on my shoe. Disusting, insignificant and needing to be disposed of, but might cause me to trip and fall. In a word: trash. I would have more respect for you if you weren't so cowardly or actually killed someone with your bare hands, you know. Because at least then you might inspire some fear.

I'm not sure if I accidentally upset you or something, but either way, please make sure your facts are right before posting such a flame/criticism, thank you.

For those of you who want to insult and flame OTHER people, the above passage should be enough.

For those of you who don't like me for some reason or another:

If it's not hurting anyone, I don't care, I won't change.

If it's my personality, too bad.

If it's my faults, at least I can acknowledge that I have them. Everyone has faults and you aren't an exception.

If it's my arrogance, that's a ruse. I only pretend to be arrogant to piss people off or make them laugh.

If it's my sexuality, um, how the hell does that concern you? Piss off.

If it's my gender orientation, then reverse discrimmination DOES exist (it does actually, though most claims are false. A man called Achebe or something said that all whites are racist, which IS reverse discrimminaton)

If it's my religion, I used to be Christian, but found things to be too different from what's actually on the Bible. As well as outdated. God is wonderful, people are not. I have a problem with people, so Satanic beliefs are more my thing.

If it's my race, well, that's racist.

If it's my sex, then you're sexist.

If it's my stories, there are plenty of others. If you have some sort of unhealthy focus on stories you don't like, then you are either a masochist or require a pych eval.

The wikipedia page on homosexuality is rather telling. You should also stop putting your focus on people who aren't straight and cisgender. I find it unusual that people who don't like homosexuality and others would focus so much on it. It not only seems obsessive, but it's annoying and bigotted. If you have a belief, keep it to yourself and don't force it onto someone else. I actually have a friend who is unaccepting of homosexuality. She finds it incomprehensible, but she's generally logical and amiable about it. She doesn't mind homosexuals and other non-heterosexuals so long as they do not flaunt it in front of her and she has no problem fitting in with LGBTQIA supporters. She has her own opinion and we occaisionally argue about it, but she isn't an obnoxious bigot about it. She's been a great friend since middle school and while she jokingly lectures me, I can tell she doesn't really mean anything offensive. We, in turn, sometimes tease her about this. She's become more understanding over the years, though she still dislikes the idea. She tells me it doesn't affect her or her schooling, so she's not going to try and change our opinions. We can debate over them to a standstill, each putting forth reasons. She accepts the way we think and our ideas even if she doesn't like them. If only more people were like her.

On another hand, if you have troubles with keeping quiet about your homophobic ideas...

In the natural world, everything humans have done is unnatural. It doesn't matter if its asexuality or homosexuality or heterosexuality, it's all 'unnatural'. If one is unnatural, they are all unnatural. Nature does not put labels on things like this. Animals do not only have sex to reproduce. Deers have threesomes. Whales egage in an activity called penis fencing, and they also engage in anal, oral, and blowhole sex. The male genitalia is very important in wolf culture, even between males. Goats coupulate with the same sex to prove dominance. Kangaroos, cats, and dogs perform oral sex ON THEMSELVES. Genderfluidity is equally as common. There are fish whom change biological sex naturally, animals with both sets of genitalia. Female birds have degenerated and simpler versions of male bird genitalia and gain male characteristics when their fertility wanes (females have WZ chromosomes and males WW. Do you realize what this implies...?).

The Idiot's Guide to Flaming - Stolen from Ryu Pendragon who stole it from Dagget

Here it is ladies and gentlemen. I am going to personally hand out some tips on how to properly flame.

Now I will admit that I've only ever been flamed once, but let me tell you that it was a sore disappointment. I was waiting for my first flame and then when it came, it was a complete flop. I've seen an awful lot of poorly executed flames here and there and I think it's about time that people start spreading the word on proper flaming before one of these idiots hurts themselves. So here are the basic rules:

1) Please have a point. I can't stress this enough people. If you think something sucks, there has to be a reason. If you have no point then there's no point in reading your review.

2) Post some literary venture of your own before you attempt a flame. Think of it as your resume. We need to see some credentials damn it! You can't just walk in off the street! How do we know if you're qualified to be making this judgment? We can't let people go around writing these things all willy-nilly. (If nothing else, it's bad form not give us something we can flame you back for.)

3) Check your spelling and grammar. There's nothing worse then making a bunch of grammatical errors right in the middle of telling someone else what's wrong with their writing. You lose all credibility. Yeah... You hear that?... They're laughing at you!

4) Do it with style. You've heard the saying, I'm sure. 'If a thing is worth doing it's worth doing well.' If you're actually going to take the time to cut someone down, the least you could do is get their attention. A simple 'duh... it sucks George' is not gonna cut it. Seriously. If you intend to be mean, then at least try to come off like the villain, and not like one of his nameless henchmen. (think scathing)

5) Read summary warnings. Trust me. You don't want to go ripping on people for content that you were clearly warned about. That honestly only makes you look like an idiot. Wait, what's that?... Oh, they're laughing at you again!

6) Throw in some amusing word play. When you step into the arena baby, you want to show off you're skills. A truly good flame entertains the crowd. That way people don't just plain hate you outright. You want them to almost look forward to more of your acerbic wit.

There they are. Please feel free to rip them off and post them where ever the hell you like. Don't hesitate to let me know if there's anything that you think should be added to the list as well. I may think of some more later myself. Invariably you think of more of them when you happen to see a poorly executed flame. It's a real problem and we need to get people educated on the issue.

Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Common Sense, who has been with us for many years. No one knows for sure how old he was, since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape. He will be remembered as having cultivated such valuable lessons as: Knowing when to come in out of the rain; why the early bird gets the worm; Life isn't always fair; and Maybe it was my fault.

Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies (don't spend more than you can earn) and reliable strategies (adults, not children, are in charge). His health began to deteriorate rapidly when well-intentioned but overbearing regulations were set in place. Reports of a 6 year-old boy charged with sexual harassment for kissing a classmate; teens suspended from school for using mouthwash after lunch; and a teacher fired for reprimanding an unruly student, only worsened his condition.

Common Sense lost ground when parents attacked teachers for doing the job that they themselves had failed to do in disciplining their unruly children. It declined even further when schools were required to get Parental consent to administer Calpol, sun lotion or a band-aid to a student; but could not inform parents when a student became pregnant and wanted to have an abortion.

Common Sense lost the will to live as the Ten Commandments became contraband; churches became businesses; and criminals received better treatment than their victims.

Common Sense took a beating when you couldn't defend yourself from a burglar in your own home and the burglar could sue you for assault.

Common Sense finally gave up the will to live, after a woman failed to realize that a steaming cup of coffee was hot. She spilled a little in her lap, and was promptly awarded a huge settlement.

Common Sense was preceded in death by his parents, Truth and Trust; his wife, Discretion; his daughter, Responsibility; and his son, Reason.

He is survived by his 3 stepbrothers; I Know My Rights, Someone Else Is To Blame, and I'm A Victim. Not many attended his funeral because so few realized he was gone. If you still remember him, pass this on. If not, join the majority and do nothing
