Author has written 36 stories for Voltron: Legendary Defender, and Harry Potter. Hey there, FF! So...I’m alive. Yay! I am still writing - I’m just far, far more active on Archive of Our Own under the same username (Rangergirl3). Everything posted here on Fanfiction is there, as well as a TON of other stories/snippets. This site will always hold a special place in my heart because it’s where I first posted, but with everything going on in my life, I’ve decided to only post stuff up on AO3. I'm also on Tumblr under the same name. I post about my fics and my own personal stuff. I've been diagnosed with Complex PTSD and I talk about that too (occasionally). I own nothing in any of the fandoms I write in except my original characters (namely Rayzor, Beyris and Aurelis) - I just love to spend hours and hours enjoying all the awesome ideas and friendship moments. :-) Other details about myself: I love to listen to music, watch amvs, and generally use movie/show/book quotes in every day conversation. Thankfully my friends are also fluent in all things nerd. I am an ISFJ. My favorite color is sapphire blue. Friendship fics and hurt/comfort are what I love to read and write. The poor characters I love get into all kinds of bad situations, but I always try to get them out of it again. :-) UPDATE: THANK YOU FOR YOUR FEEDBACK! THANK YOU SO MUCH! I NEVER THOUGHT I'D WRITE SO MANY CONSECUTIVE STORIES! Holy frik...no seriously, I had no idea when I started that any of the sequels to 'Lost Paladins' would happen. *It really makes my day to read what people thought/enjoyed! Also, feel free to PM me if you like! :D* If you're new to these stories, or if you're wondering what order they go in, here's the updated and complete order of my 'Lost Paladins' series: 1) Lost Paladins 2) Fever Dreams 3) Team Building Exercises 4) Tight Spaces 5) Red Means Blood 6) Chocolate Chip Cookies 7) You Can't Take the Sky From Me (a flashback fic) 8) Quality Time 9) Broken Barriers 10) On the Edge 11) Scavenger Hunt 12) Broken Paladins 13) Cabin Fever 14) Misadventures In Babysitting 15) Family Is More Than Blood 16) Echoes from the Past 17) Leaf On The Wind (another flashback fic) 18) Crystal Clear Memories 19) Many Happy Returns 20) Sapphire and Scarlet 21) Recovery and 22) Bloodlines HOLY SHIT WHAT I HIT 22 STORIES OHMYGOD WHEN DID THAT HAPPEN AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH :D As always, reviews help me know what people enjoyed/thought was interesting - your feedback helps this writer stay encouraged and get more ideas! :D And now, I am going to go and completely geek out over the fact that I wrote a series for for Voltron: Legendary Defender. THANK YOU AGAIN FOR ALL YOUR ENCOURAGEMENT - I can honestly say I could not have done it without your encouragement and support! :-) Thank you all who have followed, favorited, and/or reviewed my stories these last few months. I LOVE hearing what ya'll think - phrases that struck you, moments you enjoyed - this writer loves feedback! :-) It makes me _so_ happy to share in this community, and to share in some really great fandoms. Thanks again for reading - it makes my day when you leave reviews. :-) If you're still reading - wow, you must really like this profile. :D But seriously - I want to leave you with a few encouraging thoughts. My encouragement to you: Embrace the nerd that lives inside of your heart. Once you do, you'll be a much, much happier person. For years, I was under the delusion that I had to appear 'normal'. I thought that others would only like me if they didn't realize how nerdy I was. Eventually, I came to realize that if someone thought that I was 'too' nerdy, or that I got 'too excited' about something that wasn't a real world event, that that person might not be the best person to be around. In summary, your real friends will not belittle you for your nerdiness. They may not (completely) understand why you just completely freaked out and are running around, screaming in joy at the latest development of the Dresden Files, but they _will_ grin genuinely at you and say, "I'm glad that brings you joy." And then, when that friend stays up into the small hours of the morning playing 'Overwatch', you can, in your turn, ask how it's going and enjoy their joy in turn. Kindness is vital in life. You don't have to feel happy to be kind - I'm not talking about faking happiness. Sometimes, all you can (or need to) do is to be patient and thoughtful. But in the end, you'd be amazed at how much of a difference even the smallest bit of that can make. Some of the most pivotal moments in my life were when someone was kind in a small, yet vital way. They listened, offered support and encouragement, and sometimes, they didn't say anything at all. But they showed me that they cared. So - that's my encouragement to you. But, I think the Eleventh Doctor said it best. "In 900 years of time and space, I have never met someone that wasn't important." Every person is important. Every one matters. So get out there and be kind. It takes a lot of courage, but you can do it. Thanks for taking the time to read my profile! :-) |
