Taking place after "The Hunt Continues", Steven and the Crystal Gems find themselves on a strange new planet. They later find the planet is a huge game reserve, and they are the game. They are being hunted by a new breed of hunter called the Super Predators. With no spaceship, no help, and 3 monsters hunting them across the planet, survival for the Crystal gems seems bleak.

After the events of "The Hunt for the Gems", a Predalien spawns in a predator ship, causes it to crash-land near Beach City and prepares a xenomorph army to destroy Beach city. Steven, suffering from nightmares, must band together the people of Beach city. Will they overcome the alien menace? Or is Beach city doomed to extinction?

The Gems and Steven investigate a heat bloom on Bouvet Island. What started out as a simple exploration turns in the battle of their lives. Steven needs to use his newly mastered powers to help survive the trials of the temple.
