I am very flexible and am happy to read pretty much any style or genre of writing. I would be happy to proofread either chapter by chapter or whole pieces at once, though it would be good to be allowed more time to read through longer pieces. It would be good if the author of the piece was at least somewhat confident with spelling and grammar so that there wouldn't be too many corrections to make, but I'm still willing to have a look over any piece and help authors of all abilities. I can only beta in English, but I'd be happy to accept entries from non-native speakers and try to help with any potential language barrier if I can. I usually have lots of spare time so I should be able to provide feedback and comments quickly.

I am very experienced with the technicalities of writing, so I can hopefully offer a lot of suggestions for spelling and grammar. I can usually help with creative problems as well, such as story pacing and linking events together seamlessly. If I know the characters well, I can assist with their dialogue and make sure it's written in a realistic and believable style.

I can be excessively pedantic at times, so I might not be a good fit for someone who doesn't like a lot of small corrections or suggestions. I sometimes have busy periods so may not always be available for a rapid provision of feedback, but I'll try my best to alert people in advance so that I don't let anyone down.

I'm very fond of fluff and angst pieces, especially with character pairings involved. I also really enjoy sci-fi and fantasy, but it would be good if any new technologies/creatures etc were properly explained, either in the piece itself or separately to me, so that I have a good idea of what's going on and don't get lost in the story. My favourite fandoms are: Criminal Minds, Marvel, Star Wars, M*A*S*H, Friends, Firefly and Black Butler, so I would love to beta any fanfictions in these categories.

I'm not a fan of excessively AU pieces, or anything based on reality shows or similar, so would not make a good beta for these genres. Generally though I'm willing to give anything a try, even if I'm not very familiar with the source material.
