I have in the past proof-read stories for friends and pointed out grammar and spelling mistakes for them should they ask. I proof-read my own writing very thoroughly, often reading a chapter at least 3 times to check for mistakes. That is my style, reading it over and over until I find all or most of the mistakes. Should anyone acquire my services, I just ask that they are polite and kind to me, and I shall be toward them in turn, and to not take it offensively if I correct a lot of their writing. I am only here to help.

I am probably best at fixing spelling and grammar mistakes. I've always been a very good speller and I tend to correct people often, even if I don't mean to. I am also pretty good with punctuation, I think.

For weaknesses, I guess I don't have very much knowledge in the field of tenses. I also tend to go over the top and completely revamp things if I don't like the way things are written (at least for myself. I wouldn't do that to someone else's story though).

I would like to beta stories for things that I know and love such as books I've read or shows I've seen or movies I've watched, since I know the story behind the story and I would be able to make sense of the plot better. However, I would be open to learning new shows/movies/books/animes etc. through doing beta for others.

Like I said I would be open to reading stories for things I do not know, but I would prefer not to do so. I would rather beta read stories based off of things I already know. So if I beta read a fanfiction story for a book I've never read, I don't think I'd be able to do so because I don't know the story behind the story and I wouldn't want to fail the writer by not helping them make sense of something if I don't personally know it.
