Hi! I'm Emmy, but if you're reading this, then you probably already know that I'm a fanfiction author and a beta reader. I love beta-ing for people, not only because I can help them with their writing, but it also means that I'm the first one ever to read that story! It really is an honor… There's no emoticon to describe it!

I am, first of all, very good at the English language. When reading through, I'll be completely thorough on any spelling or punctuation errors. Second is, I'm good at spotting little things that might make your writing boring to readers. Being overly descriptive or repeating words (unless intentionally) are good ways to drive readers away early. I'm also a fairly good judge, and if you have any mistakes, I'll be fairly open (though the softie in me will probably hold back a little bit).

I'm not really comfortable doing stuff above T… Ya know. -Cough- So, please… Also, as I mentioned before, I have an inner softie. While I'm willing to be harsh about little things like spelling, I'll have a lot of trouble telling you if you've got a boring or ideal OC, or a lame plot, or something like that. I might find ways to slip it into conversation though, so if I do, be on the look-out for any hints of things that you might want to change in your story.

I'd much prefer a good adventure, or an interesting OC to a mushy romance any day. I'm not saying I don't like romance, it's just that I prefer a plot to constant fluff. I'll take pretty much anything you throw at me though, so feel free to!

Um… Ya know… 'M' rated stuff. I've been addicted to reading lemons before, and frankly, it's embarrassing. I really don't like lemons, or even limes, but the problem is once I start reading them, I can't look away, and it makes me incredibly uncomfortable. So, please, be kind to your beta and spare me of the pointless sex stories.
