I'm an avid reader and writer- probably because I'm an English student.

I will read any such genre or age range (although I have my preferences), as long as the person is looking for constructive criticism, ideas and/or praise and has made a genuine effort on the piece they're giving me, with no exceptions. I'm busy with work/writing a lot of the time, so if you send me a piece to read, it could take anything from a day to two weeks to get back to you. The length of the piece will also contribute to the time I will take.

I like to praise people for work that they've done which I feel is genuinely great, because I always find that approach is more encouraging than just throwing all of the bad points in their faces bluntly. Saying that though, I'm honest and fully critical if I feel something needs adjusting. I'm also a perfectionist, a spelling/ grammar nerd and always have a well of ideas for some reason. Additionally, I'm also fairly patient and I always respect every writer who sends their work to me, regardless of my own personal opinion concerning their work.

My ideas are probably my weakness- sometimes they work, sometimes they don't. I also like to spend a lot of time going over a piece, so I feel that the check has been thorough.

I prefer original stories with maybe not so original characters in the romance/comedy/thriller/horror genre, preferably of age range T or higher.

If you're desperate for a beta reader, I will, but I really am not a big fan of Twilight. Plus I have to be convinced by certain 'pairings' that go on, if I'm beta reading romances.
