On hopes of becoming a Beta Reader, I'll introduce myself. I'm Yasmine, but you can call me Ya-chan. I'm currently 20 years old. I'm an English native speaker and it is the only language I am experienced in. I avidly read and write fanfiction on this website, mostly Kingdom Hearts.

Several of my strengths would include spotting grammar and spelling mistakes. I usually Beta read at least two to three times just so I can be thorough when correcting. I can help with spicing up the story, i.e.: helping the author with introducing sub-plots in an interesting manner, using adjectives to create vivid imagery in the reader's minds, help create a certain tone/mood through out a chapter.

A weakness of mine as a Betareader is that I cannot read very quickly. I must take my time when reading so I do not miss any errors. If you expect me to be done within the same day, it will not happen and I apologize for that. I am not good with the use of transitional words.

I prefer to read fanfictions that are only Kingdom Hearts related. I have a preference with certain couples over others, such as Sora/Riku and Axel (or Lea)/Riku. However, this does not stop me from reading other couples. As for genre and rating, they are stated below in my preferences.

I will not betaread anything other than Kingdom Hearts. This is a series I am very familiar with and would be able to help with canon and AU stories. If it's another series, I am not confident in my abilities story wise. I will also not read crossovers that mix characters from two different series. Basing Kingdom Hearts characters off a story is fine (i.e. Characters from Kingdom Hearts as Romeo and Juliet without the actual Romeo and Juliet from Shakespeare's novel). I will not read stories with OCs.
