I'm not a very critical beta reader as far as the storyline is concerned. For example, if you're looking for someone to strongly critique your story, don't come to me. I'm not critical enough to do that well (though I will try if that's really what you want!!) I specialize in going over grammer. I don't claim to be perfect at that, but I like to think I'm pretty good. I'm willing to try anything once, so if you have something you want me to beta, but you're not sure if I'll go for it, send me a message. I'll try surprising things sometimes!

Death Note stories are my favorite, preferably with Mello and Matt, though I also love Near. Light and L aren't my favorite, but I'll take stories about them.

English is the subject that comes most naturally to me. I'm best at correcting grammatical and spelling errors. I have an easy time at catching little things, like where apostrophes should be used and which form of a word is best. I also can catch spelling problems, but because of spell check, I don't know how useful that is to most people.

All that being said, if you're not worried about your grammer, I'm not the beta reader for you. If you're concerned about your use of commas, apostrophes, and those sorts of things, I'm best at that.

I'm not good at editing story content. I rarely make suggestions such as "you need more description here," that sort of thing. If I have thoughts regarding the story content, I'll say something, but for the most part, I'm happy with what's already written.

I would prefer Death Note stories over others. I read a lot of Death Note fanfiction, so that's my favorite to beta as well. Matt and Mello are my favorite characters for fanfiction, but I'll also read stories about Near, L, and Light. I love stories that have a level of angst to them, something that gives the characters a hard time, if that makes sense. At the same time, I do enjoy comedic stories as well, so I'm open to most anything.

Recently, I started reading a ridiculous ammount of Axis Powers Hetalia fanfiction, so I'm now betaing those if you have them!! Any pairing is fine. ^_^

Stories with really, really strange pairings a.k.a. Ryuk/Light *shudders*. There are some pairings that simply make me cringe. If you'd like me to beta for you, feel free to ask me about pairings that bother me. I'm not going to list them all here because, honestly, sometimes I'm not even aware of pairings that exist, so the list could never be complete.
