I'm an admitted-and rather proud-grammar Nazi who greatly enjoys editing and proofreading stories that I come across whether the author asks me to or not. I can be as specific or vague in my correction of any errors as the situation calls for, but if you have extremely thin skin I suggest you look for assistance elsewhere. I wouldn't say that I'm mean, really, so much as wordy and dark-humored to the point that you have to be able to take constructive criticism and light joking at your own expense for us to be able to get along really well.

I'm best at helping to develop style, correcting errors in spelling and grammar, and overall plot direction. If I'm really familiar with the characters I can do wonders with fixing OOC in actions in dialogue, though I do believe that the character's actual thoughts are open to interpretation. I'm also good with fixing redundancy and things like that.

I tend to edit things that don't always really need to be edited to make them sound better to me. Also, I prefer stylistic and poetic grammar over the strict interpretation of syntax, so things I have input in often end up sounding more like someone is speaking than an essay or epic novel.

I absolutely love the combination of angst and humor, and mystery and romance. Yaoi is my favorite, but I'm also fine with yuri and heterosexual pairings. That said, I also would much prefer if your story had some element of romance or something that I could pretend is romance.

I don't really like super OOC comedy. Song-fics are okay, I suppose, but I guarantee I wouldn't be able to do a good job at betareading any of your original poetry.
