The beauty of being a beta, for me, is helping people. That's all I'm here for. I will give constructive critisism and offer many suggestions to help you improve your work, but I will never be nasty. I'll be patient with new writers involving grammar, spelling, plot, and (usually) characterization.

If you do request my services I will typically get back to you very quickly, but I need to have a way to let you know I want to be your beta! Just make sure your messages are enabled. :)

I am a strong speller, even though I can be a Nazi about it sometimes. This is also the case with grammar.

I believe I could help a writer with plot direction and structure, as well as the tone and style of a story. Characterization is iffy, because it depends on the fandom.

Sometimes, I have a problem following a first-person story. I always have trouble writing it, so I probably wouldn't be able to beta that kind of story very well. It's very difficult to make that point of veiw flow, at least for me. But, I could look past this if needed.

I am also extremely picky with grammar, spelling, dialogue (it just has to be realistic), and verb tenses.

I would love a story that is very involved; a story that interests me and makes me think. Other than that, I would appreciate it if the author can take constructive criticism with an open heart and mind. Just do that, and I'll be the best beta ever! \o/

Incest, crossover/crack pairings, hentei, mpreg (unless there is some explanation for it that makes it realistic), sex that involves more than two people, rape, The Stereotypical High School Alternate Universe, sex between video game characters, abuse, and public sex

I also don't like most RPF fics, with a BIG exception to most Adam Lambert fics, as I've written many myself (on a different site).
