Beta Bio: general description as a beta reader
I noticed there aren't many femslash beta readers in some of my categories, so I thought I'd offer. I've been reading/writing fanfic for awhile, mostly in certain fandoms, but I'm not too picky. |
My Strengths: beta, writing, or reading strengths
I like to think I have a decent ear for character's voices, and generally can pick out what will make a reader cringe :) Oh and also, I have a good understanding of the legal system, so I can beta for the "legalese". |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
I work a lot, so it may take some time for me to get things back. Further, don't count on me for spelling. |
Preferred: types of stories I prefer over others
Femslash please? I'm alright with less than M-rated het, but it's not my forte. Also, I'll be way more useful to you if you're writing characters I know well. I don't have any specific pairings I won't read and actually like creative crossovers. |
Would Rather Not: I do not beta for these stories
M rated het or m/m (in fact pretty much any m/m that's beyond friendship isn't going to be my thing). Also I really prefer to read characters I know, but if you're writing something with an original character, just give me a quick bio. |
