I am a professional freelance writer. Also sometimes substitute as an English or History teacher. My style may be a bit pedantic, but I love to work with people who write and I love to teach and I have a deep appreciation for the creativity I have seen here. Many of the writers I have read are the equivalent of anyone being published... or better. They have my respect & are among my favorite authors. I also enjoy crossovers that are well thought out. It is always fascinating to see where they will go.

I am an automatic proofreader. I correct spelling , punctuation and grammar. I also - unless asked not to - polish the story. I keep it as close to your wording as possible but try to make the meaning clear etc. If someone wants a critique only - no changes - I can do that also. Just advise your expectation when you contact me to beta, please.

Details. Sometimes I am more detailed than you might want, since I am always seeking perfection.

I far prefer stories that either follow canon or stray a step or two... into 'what if' this happened & changed everything.

I am willing to read other stories... except for those with excessively graphic violence. I also find some lemons too over the top for me. The stories where only the character names remain the same but the setting is completely different also do not appeal to me. That is not so much an AU as a borrowed character. If the story is completely different it is original fiction for which you did not create your own characters.
