Heya! I am Miss Mercury101, and at this moment in time, I haven't beta-ed anything since I'm new to this. I did get an A for my English GCSE though if that helps. Basically, I'm quite happy to help anyone with their story unless I get overloaded with work, but if you think it's urgent, I'll do my best to help. It's weird - I keep feeling like this is the place to have a bit of a breakdown and start begging you to choose me as a beta, as this is scarily like a CV. Probably checking grammar, and making sure that the vocabulary in a story is spelt properly. Supplying other words with the same definition - I like to think I'm quite good at crosswords - and this helps if someone only uses 'says' and 'replies' as terms of speaking in stories.

I feel I have an obligation to British-cise everything, which probably isn't helpful if the author is American or has learnt English from Americans, as several words are spelt differently, but I can certainly stop doing so if required.

Probably Harry Potter, as this is the fandom in which most of my fics are written, but I'll give others a go as well. For example, Labyrinth, Batman, Twilight...I'm not fussy. More generally though, I quite like Books and Movies as places to write from.

Well, I probably wouldn't be the best person to beta Anime/Manga, Comics, or Games, as I've never read anything from these.
