I understand beta reading seems a little bit contradictory in my case, seeing as I rarely ever proof read my own work... ah. I'm a very impulsive sort of writer, in the way that I rarely pre-plan anything I write. I simply sit, do it, and upload it. My writing style is very stream-of-concious because of it, which may or may not be appealing, but I find that the best way. I'm a bit of a perfectionist - if I re-read my work I'd end up never uploading it, frankly! xD So, if I were to beta read your work I'd probably have the same standards. I'd concentrate on, obviously, spelling and grammar, but also your characterisations and descriptions, depending on your ideals. Writing is all about making readers use their imagination, after all!

I've been told I'm good at atmospheric writing, imagery, characterisation, and, when using the humble pen and paper, my grammar and spelling never falters. So, if any of those things are your weaknesses, I'm right here.

In all honesty, I find giving critisism difficult. Again, a bit contradictory for a beta reader. I will, of course, give points for improvement - just in a very meek, annoyingly nice sort of way.

I love dark, angsty stuff. Anything sinister or a little unusual. Originality. Though I'll help with anything you ask me to. :)

Fluff. Romance isn't a turn-off, but when everyone's giggling and simpering and cuddling and kissing I do feel a little claustrophobic. I like romance when it's realistically written. Life isn't sunshine and rainbows, unfortunately. Fluff is cute - it just seems very cheap and synthetic to me. Despite that, I would still quite happily beta read a fluff fic for you. :D
