I expect what ever the author's best is. I don't care much for the quality, as long as it isn't a crap plot that advances in leaps and bounds. Also, unnecessarily god like characters are a big no no. Besides that, I'd be happy to help just about any story along, I don't have to understand the whole history of the characters to know it's a good read or understand the general go along (that's where Google comes in P). I'm on everyday for the most part and actively read around and also work on my own stories.

Expect some harsh corrections on occasion, but don't worry, I don't bite...hard.

Well, I have a critical eye and tend to catch small errors a lot, like punctuation. It's something of an OCD(CDO)... I excel mainly in punctuation and spelling with a decent grammar ability as well. Did I mention I'm fast with reading?

As for the writing part, I can come up with some interesting ideas and also don't make many mistakes, though that is probably due to one of my weaknesses.

As a reader, not any that I can think of except for an impatience with certain plots, developments or stories in general.

As a writer, it's that I am slow with my writing and just plain lazy with it. I also tend to stray for either too much Dialogue or too little resulting in conversations being over wordy or lacking. I also might slip off and lack in description detail.

I prefer non-angst and realistic situations (pending on category of course). Coming from a guy, this might seem weird, but I do like romances, along with a good spot of action and adventure of course.

Fantasy has always been a favorite of mine, having an over active imagination and all. Sci-fi as well for my inner mad scientist.

I would prefer not to beta any kind of angst or grossly huge harem story. On the harem, don't mind if it is just several of the opposite gender out to get the love of everyone's life, just as long as it doesn't end up with more than 3 being with said love interest for good. Gender Benders, will consider depending on who is getting the sex change operation and how many are getting it.

Next point is, no god characters without good, solid reason. Have read too many god-like Naruto stories and it's getting to me. Plot is usually terrible and character is conceited.
