As a beta reader, I am very thorough. I can find practically every mistake within the first reading, and I can always tell when imagery is very well-done. I may not be able to respond quickly during the September-June period, thanks to school, but I can manage to respond within a week. You can expect a note after each paragraph or two, along with a basic spelling and grammar correction package. I also aim to include at least one paragraph on possible improvements at the end of the reading.

I am extremely good with finding grammatical flaws, and I savor my skill at locating conflicting passages. I am extremely wordy, and can help with the addition of small notes the reader may be confused about if left out.

I'm not the best when it comes to developing characters. Other than that, I could do with a bit more skill at getting new ideas and continuing stories past the first few chapters, but... I do get an amazingly high number of ideas for brand new stories around midnight every night, which is the worst time.

I don't really have any preferences, except for loving practically any fantasy book I pick up. Currently, I am focused on MacGyver, mythology and real life, so something with one of those elements may well attract my attention over Inheritance Cycle. But please, still ask. Oh, and no horror or AU stories unless they have a very good plot.

I will not beta for the super-horrifying stories-and no non-canon pairings or slash unless nothing is specified on the subject-but I'll take anything else. Oh, and no next-book-in-the-series business, either.
