My name is Patd06...I am completely enthralled in the reading and writing of fanfiction. I've been writing since I was about ten, so I'm used to editing and re-reading and the ever present "does this sound right?" question. If I am given a story to betaread, I will treat it as if it's my own and do my best to help follow the vision of whoever requests my services. I know when I write I like to receive constructive criticism, and I will only give constructive criticism in return. However, if you don't feel my criticisms are constructive, then you will have to tell me. Also, if I'm betareading for you, and it takes a while for me to get back to you, just be persistent. I'm a high school/college student, so I have both high school and college level classes, but if you request my services, I will do my best to make time for you because I would expect the same out of anyone else.

I am extremely into grammar and I can pick out grammatical eras almost instantly. My friends make fun of me because I diagram sentences for fun. Spell check is my best friend.

I sometimes have issues with following outlines. I make them, but I often deviate from them, and sometimes my idea ends up changing completely.

I like InuYasha and Bleach the best. I ship these couples for InuYasha: InuYashaXKagome, MirokuXSango, SesshomaruXKagura, KogaXAyame, KohakuXRin; for Bleach: IchigoXRukia, IchigoXGrimmjow, GrimmjowXUlquiorra, RenjiXRukia...I also like Vampire Night: KanameXYuki, KanameXZero...I will read pretty much anything including yaoi...in fact I quite enjoy reading yaoi, mostly because I don't really know how to write it. I will also read yuri if the pairing is plausible to me. Lemons are acceptable.

I do not read incest, especially inucest. So I won't beta anything between InuYasha and Sesshomaru. It's not plausible, in my opinion. I also include SesshomaruXRin in the incest category. I also won't read anything between Ichigo and Orihime, because Orihime makes me nauseous. Also, no IchigoXHollow Ichigo/Shiro. That kind of freaks me out. I don't read InuYashaXKikyo, SesshomaruXKagome, InuYashaXSango, or NarakuXAnyone. I will not read ZeroXYuki, just because I don't like them as a couple.
