I love polishing up stories for people with a passion for writing like myself. I'll actively search for weak points, offer constructive criticism, and ask you questions, as I want to make sure you can properly flesh out your brain's child! If I'm your beta, I'm doing all I can to make sure you produce a masterpiece. I cannot fluently speak any other language than English, so if you want me as a beta it's up to you to translate it first. Furthermore, please do the best you can to act as your own beta before sending me a chapter. I understand that some writers have amazing ideas and bad mechanics; I won't discriminate against a genuinely good story with bad grammar conventions, but try to make things easier for me. If you'd like, we can set up a schedule.

Characterization, spelling, grammar, misnomers, identifying plot/explanation inconsistencies, tense uniformity, and descriptions. In my own opinion, my editing repertoire is extensive. I can tell you if you're being bland by using seven simple sentences in a row and can easily spot continuity errors. If your scenario seems unrealistic and you're not too sure how to write it in realistically, I can help with that! (BS is my claim to fame) If English isn't your native language and you need someone to revise your story, I'm pretty good at interpreting sentences lost in translation. Certain story points you want to connect but don't know how? I got you. When I write, I do extensive research behind the series and characters so that every plot point is impenetrable. I'll brainstorm and volley ideas with you and make sure your story is in top shape for publishing.

As certain sentences are stylistic choices which tend to overlap with being incorrect, I might leave something looking a bit awkward since I can't really tell the difference. If I'm not familiar with the series, I won't be of much help with characterization. I also tend to edit micro to macro. What that means is that I'll focus on the writing mechanics first - grammar, spelling, punctuation, etc. - and THEN go to structure; this a weakness because it can make the editing process longer by correcting your story at the micro-level, even though the parts I've corrected might have to be revised again to make your story flow better at the macro-level. If we have a schedule, I'll nag you a little if you're excessively late. I know the writing process is draining, but I also know that the longer you let the block consume you, the worse off you'll be getting back into the swing of things.

I prefer the anime/manga entries, as I'm better acquainted with them (read: I'm a weeb). I really love myself some good angst and tragedy, but I like humor and romance as well! I love character development and really visceral pieces.

I'm not too good with M-preg. At all. I have no idea how to handle western. Crossovers murder my mind and I will be of less and less help the longer the story goes. OC only stories are the same - I don't mind a lot of OCs leading into canon but there should be canon interaction. Not to say that I won't work with you if this is what you're writing! It's just that you're going to have a tougher time getting me to agree.
