As a beta reader, I tend to start with "Alright, let's see what's wrong here" and look at the errors more than I do the well-executed things. I might throw in a suggestion, too. |

Usage of the English language. I'm the first person to point out any spelling and grammar errors, and the last to finish with the list of errors spotted. |
My Weaknesses: beta, writing, or reading weaknesses
Pacing. I'm not too confident in if I need to put a line break over there or merge together these two paragraphs. |
Preferred: types of stories I prefer over others
Competition stories in the vein of Survivor or The Amazing Race are what I'm familiar with, and that is what I do best. |
Would Rather Not: I do not beta for these stories
Emotion isn't my strongest point. I won't be as useful as some other choices when it comes to that type of story. |
