As a beta-reader, I aim for helping mostly with post-writing things, such as proofreading for spelling and grammatical errors. A story well within the bounds of my knowledge though, such as Young Justice, DC Animated Universe, Fairy Tail, Series of Unfortunate Events, Harry Potter, and Star Wars bar the Sequels will allow me to help with the characterization, and the descriptions of certain items in the story, such as ships and their names. My only expectation is that story be at least 1,000 words, and that the writer is willing to take my criticisms to heart, and improve themselves as a writer. I look forward to working together.

In writing/betareading, I excel most within the bounds of spelling and grammar. Within writing/betareading in realms within my interests, I'm much more useful. I can fix names of ships, obscure characters, weapons, correct appearances, and rattle off anything within that area at a moment's notice.

My weakness within this field is that I am not very good at Male Slash romance or lemon scenes. I'm also only half decent at descriptions of hard to imagine things, but other than that, I am well rounded with the topic at hand.

I would prefer to beta read things with action, humor, adventure, friendship, angst, and comfort.

I would rather not beta read stories that include, but are not limited too, Lemon, Major Character Death, and "Dark fics" I much prefer the stories be kept in the realms of their canon in terms of the blood and gore, and I am not a fan of major character death, I don't mind character death if it's limited to canon and OCs though.
