Well, I'll read just about anything, especially sci-fi genres. I read with a critical eye, but never actually criticize works without pointing out areas that could be improved and how they can be improved.

I have no high expectations of anyone who wishes to acquire my services if they are new writers, and the expectations get only marginally higher depending on the experience of a writer. I never flame, and have no respect for someone who does without at least offering some helpful advice.

I also belive that anyone with a good imagination should be able to express themselves through writing, and skill and experience should not matter as long as they put some real effort in.

Strength and Weakness descriptions will be updated as I get more experience as a writer and Beta Reader.

My main strengths as a Beta Reader lie in spelling, punctuation and grammar above most others. I also strive to write descriptive parts well, and hope to be able to help improve other writers' skills in these areas.

I've also been told I'm good with false historical events and with writing action sequences (eg. space battles for sci-fi or fire-fights for action) and can create plausible explanations for futuristic techno-babble without getting overly complicated.

As with anyone, I'm not perfect by a long shot. I can sometimes have difficulty writing love scenes (romance genre, hence why the few short stories I've written in this genre have never been submitted to the site) and although I'm moderately good with horror scenes, I'm told I'm often not descriptive enough.

Action/Adventure, Horror and Sci-fi are the main genres I like reading. Particular categories include Halo, Resident Evil, Dawn Of The Dead, the Stargate series, Battlestar Galactica 2003, Buffy, Angel, Charmed and some Star Wars, but just about anything in those three main genres will suffice.

As I've already said, there isn't much I don't read. While I do read some Romance fics, mostly I avoid them. Also, I very rarely read Harry Potter fics and am only interested in a very small number of Anime fics. I don't think I've ever read a fic about Comic Books as well, although I am willing to give them a go.
