War has been going on between the Nightmare King and the Guardians since the Golden Age. The former Nightmare King finds himself addicted to a certain winter spirit's fear, and Jack Frost is not as afraid as he should be.

When Jack starts feeling exceptionally tired, to the point that he can't get out of bed, Koz starts to worry. Not that he ever stops, but Jack goes to the doctor to calm him down. It turns out to be a lot more serious than they could ever expect.

A spin-off AU of my other story, A Home For Fear. Pitch meets Jack when he is first reborn, but this time has the advantage of having been friends with him before. Or after, depending on how you view time and linearity.

What if Bunny had lost his self-control that day in the park and had actually hit Jack instead? As a result, he's left feeling far more vulnerable when Pitch finds him in Antarctica. When a desperate bargain is struck between cold and dark, what will come of it? Will the Guardians win or will the world be plunged back into the Dark Ages? And where does Jack stand in all of this?

Pitch Black wanted to be left alone to brood in relative peace following his defeat at the hands of the Guardians. Constant snow falling on one's head, however, did not help with the brooding process, nor did the presence of a mischievously smiling Jack Frost causing said snowfall.

The Man in the Moon found that he liked to watch the people of Earth, though his attention was drawn on a regular basis to the Guardians and Pitch. Sometimes he just couldn't understand how the other beings got themselves mixed up in some of the situations they encountered. -unrelated humorous one-shots for those that don't care to read angst/horror-

Pitch decided that he was going to have a little one-on-one time with a certain Guardian. After five years of seclusion to his underground home, the Nightmare King had started to become quite bored of his dark surroundings. Tormenting Jack Frost seemed like a perfectly reasonable thing to do that day.

Jack Frost thought he had Pitch all figured out, but the conclusions Jack had come to would soon be shattered. The winter spirit was about to see just how terrifying Pitch could be. Jack's mistake of assuming that the Nightmare King wouldn't possibly be capable of following through on previously made threats was a careless error. One that Jack was going to regret.

Everyone has a past and some do not have to be brought upon by teeth. No, some memories can be drawn up by a simple dream; or nightmare. Old fears can be dug up, and others cleansed. Still, Jack isn't sure how he got here or where exactly he is. Heck, who is this army guy, anyway? Looks a bit like Pitch. (Highly volatile experiment for author. Not Slash.)

Jack Frost had thought that he had gotten away from the nightmares, but when he realizes he can only keep up hope and joy by secretly using self-mutilation, he is soon faced to look at his new reflection-a shadowy black figure-that he does not believe is himself. He is not fear. He is not a nightmare, so why has a fogged up reflection of Pitch come back to haunt him?

After getting into an argument with Bunny, who crosses the line, Jack wanders off and finds himself in a place he never wanted to return to... Pitch's lair. Pitch uses this chance to create a second Jack, however there is a catch. The two Jacks must combine and fight for control of a single body. Will evil win, or will the guardians help bring their child back into the light.

The guardians have abandoned him, they concluded he betrayed them without giving him a chance to explain, now he was alone in deep pain and addle. Pitch managed to convince the confused and desperate winter spirit to side with him and It was the guardians' worst nightmare, but what has become of the kind and gentle guardian they once knew? It's eternal night this winter solstice.

What if Jack had reached Sandy in time when he was fighting that black cloud of dark sand? What would the Guardians do if Jack became Pitch's slave? Rated Teen just in case. I don't know if there is going to be any Jackrabbit so don't hold your breath.

Jack is taken by Pitch and an ally of his. Can the other Guardians save him or will Pitch get his revenge. Rated t because I'm overly cautious.

What if Jack never escape the ravine when Pitch broke his staff? What if he wasn't there to help Jamie or the Guardians? What if Pitch actually won the battle? Jack left injured in the ravine, found a day later by the Guar- No. Pitch. Why would Pitch come back for Jack?There has to be something more to why he would. Maybe there's more to the heartless soul Pitch is portrayed to be.

What would have happened if Pitch had taken Jack under his wing from the moment Jack became an immortal spirit? And more importantly, what would that mean for the Guardians?

This is a few years after Jack became a guardian, or could have been. This is a few years after Jack became best friends with Jamie, or would have been. This is a few years after Jack almost shared a kiss with Tooth, or should have. All of this didn't happen because of a fatal blow sent from Pitch. Not a death fic. After 400 years of invisibility and solitude, Jack is desperate. So desperate, he thinks he will do anything to get even the tiniest form of acknowledgement - even resort to using fear. But the night is always darkest before the break of dawn's light, so perhaps this means that Jack's dawn is approaching. Rated T for safety.
