Alternate Universe. 1870's in the American west. Salem and Rios are tracking around the country as bounty hunters and riding for posses.

Unhappy in his marriage, Rios resorts to having an affair with Salem, who overestimates his long time friend's emotional commitment to their newfound intimacy. Just a short little one shot, maybe 500 words or so about how the two's relationship, if turned romantic, may have played out.
