First off, I'll comment on the story itself. I can't really go into a very detailed review since the first chapter is simply a small change to the 'Bullies' scene shown in the anime version of "Confessions". Your grammar and spelling were solid. There were no errors that jumped out at me. The flow was good and everyone seemed in character. I'll have to see more before I can really comment on the story.

Now...I can't believe I'm about to say this, but...bpdidanocssmom brought up a good point and didn't come off as the tactless ass he usually is. Your updated summary helps. The original summary set off the usual alarm bells. "Eventual NaruHina", "possible NaruHina", et al are generally code words for "Heavily OOC Hinata shacks up with another guy for most of the fic with only the occasional NaruHina moment to try to keep it 'properly' labeled to ward off reports'" or "Naruto is a hugely out of character jackass, but eventually comes around (eventually being 20ish chapters)". The Naruto/Hinata character listing is one of the largest in the fandom and tends to attract the most trolls, authors who don't want to take the time to create proper OCs and post on the far less frequented Fiction Press, and/or other writers whose only exposure to Naruto is in fanfiction. A lot of us have become very wary of the above mentioned issues.

I'll put this on alert and see how it develops.

Guaranteed Naru/Hina will get you a boat load more followers and people interested. The 'they might or might not be paired' will get you, well what you have now. What Naru/Hina shipper wants to invest time into a story where they won't end up together. Even more so when it's actually tagged Naru/Hina, friendship genre or not. Just sounds like you're baiting the hook to me, but thought I'd point that out.
