I came back here to point out that I think The Triumvirate will need to catch my eye soon in this story if am to stay with this be it by using 3 different styles, tempments or well anything, Borderlands did well at this but they used insanity which I really don't know if that will happen here to that extreme or not.

I'm suprised that 281 strike craft were lost to the spiral mounted guns of 15 ships with there being no mention of the laser grids or deffensive strike craft screens (not that I know if the aliens had them before first contact).
It's 3:40am here but I'm hyper, unsleepy & just can't think in strait lines so this may not make much sense.

Interesting the human ships remind me of the game EVE online this could be a rather enjoyable read.
