It's hard to read Killian being tortured this way, but the end was even harder. Trying to pull himself back together after an experience like that, without even talking to anyone about it (I assume he'd be too ashamed). But then finally telling Emma and Emma laying his worst fear to rest...beautiful.

Fuck you.

This fic is honestly excellent. I've been searching for some good CS angst for a while, and this definitely fulfilled those desires :) I loved the part at the end where Emma said "You can't break what you put back together." I thought it really fit into her character :) Kudos to you :)

I can't believe I never reviewed this; I truly thought that I had. I actually came back just to re-read it, and I found that I hadn't. This is one of my absolute favorite fanfics for the whole Wicked Witch storyline. Though she did plenty of damage on the actual show; I truly imagined that she would capture/torture Killian or Emma (or Regina). This story is so well-done and intense. It's so sad that when they finally rescue him, she has come so close to destroying his sanity that he almost fears Emma's touch. He doesn't want to hurt her and that sense of doubt in himself is just heartwrenching. I love the way Emma ends it though, letting him know that he won't be the one who breaks her; he has started to finally put her pieces back together. So lovely and well-written! Great work!
