That was very brief but very good. I'm flashing to "Dave" from 1993 and the not very functional president-and-wife couple. Not Sigourney of course, but the general feeling of someone who is in the white house but never really wanted _this_. It think it's a great movie, and I think this was a great one-shot.
This could easily be a ten-chapter thing IMHO. It would be interesting to have a half-and-half story with a handful of chapters of white house and a handful of domestic post-breakup life. I can easily imagine about twenty conflict ideas and half a dozen really fluffy scenes. That means you could probably double both.
Something to consider when you're feeling OK and life has stopped messing with you?

I really like the concept of this. could totally be a more drawn out story. Really good concept and your a really good writer.

I didn't read the original one, but this is pretty good. It is short, and heavily weighted with telling us what happened instead of showing us but it's still good.

Wow - I would love for this one to keep going, maybe back up a little and then keep going.

I didn't get the chance to read the other version. This one is sweet. It's like a coming out story. It also remind me of the movie Roman Holiday. I pictured M&J walking down Newbury St window shoping at 1am all alone. Like the pace of the story; fast read. Thanks A Bostonian Fan.
