I've always loved this story. Over these two years I came back to read this so many times, and never found the right words for reviewing it.
After all this time I'm still so overwhelmed when I read your fanfiction, among all the stories I've ever stumbled across, this is the only one whose protagonist is blind.
I've been temporarily blind for four months, so I experienced life as your character does firsthand. It's a terribly accurate depiction of what it feels like, and the first time I read it I was so happy that someone's cared enough to write about a blind person.
It's such a beautiful concept, I'm so so happy that you wrote this and shared it, I think no other story has ever had such a huge impact on me as yours had.
Bless you for your writing skills, it's always so good to come back to something so enthralling.

I am very, very interested to see what sort of 'odd connection' Amara and Smaug share! Ooh, just thinking about all the possibilities sends shivers down my spine.

You've captured Smaug in a way I've never seen before; don't know if it's because he's human and thus I'm viewing him through a more human lense so to say, but you've managed to write him in a way that make me want to clutch my stuffed polar bear and hide or grin evilly.

I totally admire his flawless manipulation skills; it's so him. And his voice! I love the emphasis you put on his voice. Hypnotic, indeed.

The interactions between Amara and Smaug leave me with a sense of foreboding, intrigue, and that fluttery-nervous-excited-dread suspense feeling too. I'm always on the edge of my seat because as a human I find Smaug to be unpredictable. I never know what he may do in a situation. It makes the story so interesting! Almost like a thriller!

But why haven't you updated in nearly TWO years? *Weeps* Please, God, don't tell me I've arrived at another one of those stories that is left to rot! Please, please continue this! It's WAY too unique to be left undone!
