I hate F.3.A.R too, but to be fair, Alma never felt the need to make sense either, when she raped Becket.

The only small problem I have with this story is that Alma seems a bit OoC. I got the impression from the games, and from your other story, that she was still very unstable and basically psychotic at this point. I can see her slowly regaining her mental faculties if and when Becket finally reciprocated her advances, but she seemed more like a wounded animal blindly lashing out and impulsively following her obsessions without much thought in the lead up to the end of FEAR 2. If she WAS in this much control of her thoughts and actions when she was casually liquefying anyone in her way, then it's harder for me to feel as much sympathy for her.

It's still a good story regardless, I do like seeing Reborn from a different angle. I suppose the way Alma is portrayed here does add an interesting take on the events of that expansion, even if it slightly contradicts or confuses the main game.
Continuity was never exactly FEAR's strong point anyway, to be fair. Especially that blasphemy of a third game. (I suppose this is why it was necessary for you to introduce the "alternate dimensions" concept in your fic - although I guess the "Vivendi timeline" already sort of did that.)

I've been meaning to review this story, but I just can't think what to write about it. I am enjoying it so far, but every time I've clicked this box my mind goes blank. I guess even reviewers can get writer's block.
So here I am, just letting you know why I've read and followed this but not left a review before. Sorry I can't give any constructive criticism or anything, but this fic seems immune to it. Maybe that means it's entirely perfect for what it is. I still like your other one more of course, but that's no surprise since it's the main story.
