So curious to find out what they will be doing on the show! The ending of last season gave everybody so much ammo to write with, and I enjoy every fanfic it produces. This is a good one-shot. A little dark with Nick going off the rails there for a bit. But I understand and it is a good way to get Sam and Andy back together. Enjoyed it! Bye

Could see Nick maybe suffering from PTSD that would make an interesting storyline for him and he did see friends die. Do think Sam needs to tell Andy about Marlo as soon as she heals. He didn't love her enough to wait and started sleeping with the first new person at the station. It will hurt but she is going to hear about it sooner or later and better from him. Like someone else wrote, I wish you'd add a chapter 2.
