Whoaaa, I did not expect the story to go the way it did, hehe! :P Like, wow! I honestly didn't expect Hanamiya to win, but I'm glad he did uwu I can't believe how cute they are as a couple despite being the same characters fundamentally! xD aaah, so sweet!

I kind of feel sorry for Kiyoshi, hehe... but after reading her reason for rejecting him, I can realise the logic in that. Kiyoshi is too... perfect, geez! Plus the whole association started out from Tomoe's guilt so it probably only made her feel all the more burdened. Yeah, maybe usually a guy like him would definitely get the girl, but it's interesting to see the other side of the argument when the guy himself appears too perfect and ideal to the girl, particularly one with a guilty conscience like Tomoe.

Tomoe herself is pretty likeable, hehe. She's a bit of a contradictory character... fearful yet oddly brave at times. She started out as a bit of a coward due to her past and overeliance on Hanamiya, but bit by bit she broke free of that. Her relationship with Hanamiya is definitely an interesting one... very complicated, to be honest! xD Yet it feels... feasible, despite their flaws. In the end, you really feel like they are meant to be together :3 That in the end, they can best help each other grow as people - that's what I feel! Kiyoshi... might have just encouraged her to stay her unconfident, doubtful self, because he's too comfortable to be with. Humans grow from challenges and hardships... being too comfortable makes you stagnant, which I think might happen to Tomoe if she was with Kiyoshi... in that sense, Hanamiya is better for her :P He'll forever keep her on her toes, lol!

Anyway, this was an amazing story! I had a great time reading :D

first of all, just to let anyone know I went from chapter 7 to the ending, cause the hurt was real and I'm a baby that just wanted to see the ending
the writing was good, the placing of the flashbacks was really effective in making me imagine it; it felt like, in anime form, it would flow really well, idk if that made sense
With the ending, I can't help but imagine them falling out of love one day and it end up as a massively abusive relationship...like I can't judge the relationship itself cause I barely read the story, but without love, this relationship would be a full on angst-fest with her hanging on to him since she can't abandon him despite the abuse...
idk why but I'm legit imagining a whole dang sequel to it haha

At first I was a bit disappointed that she didn't end up with Kiyoshi, but by the end, I was glad lol, I reeealy like herHanamiya together!

This is a really well written story. The pacing, dialogue, description was great, all the characters were in-character as well. I’m a little sad that Tomoe didn’t end up with Teppei but I got to see a better side of Hanamiya at least :)

This is my first comment but like this is amazing.
As much as i don’t like Hanamiya, the way you presented him made him seem more humane. What I really find absolutely important in this chapter though is the fact that Tomoe faces herself and realized that this is going nowhere. That she needs to cut this toxic relationship/friendship. Whilst Hanamiya is not necessarily bad or evil, he is emotionally unstable. Tomoe is also emotional unstable and him putting his baggage on her is not helping and she finally acknowledged this. I love the pace of the story keep going!

It has been so long since a fan fic made me cry. This was such an amazing story and it was so well written I had to comment. You're an amazing author, I just downloaded the rest of your knb stories. Can't wait to read them. Next I'm hitting your durarara fics. Hope to see more in the future!

Hiiiii. I don't know if you'll ever see this, but if you do, then I'd like to say that this fan fiction has desperately caged me within its hold as I read through the chapters. It wasn't enough to make me cry hahah, but it sure was enough for me to love it and can't help but root for Tomoe. I didn't expect HANAMIYA to be the chosen lover, because it's rare when those 'bad boys' who'd been one of the causes of the protgqonist's suffering is chosen, but I was and still am infinitely glad that Hanamiya was chosen. Kiyoshi is nice and all, but being in a relationship with him wouldn't have portrayed the realism of love—that you really don't get to choose who you fall in love with—and I want to thank you so, so much for writing this beautiful story.

If ever there was a sequel...I'd recommend what you said, where Kirisaki Daichi High's basketball team progresses into a less, well, trick-and-cheat play. But it'd would also be nice to see Tomoe-chan and Hanamiya sorting out some couple issues as well as Hanamiya's family issues heeeheee. But I am glad and impresses that not once, in my opinion hahhaa, had you stepped into the line of OOC. You portrayed each character really well :)
