A potential alternative ending would be for Mami to go with Yukari to Mitakihara to maybe leand credence to Yukari's arguments, potentially allowing the situation to be resolved via diplomacy.

Yukari is strong and cunning, but not invincible. I assume she failed her task of eliminating both Kyubey and Madoka. Mitakihara is an advanced modern city where belief of youkai is scarce, and youkai is just as powerful as human fear them.

The reason why Gensokyo exist is to preserve traditional belief so youkai can survive.

What a fascinating and intricate story! Really great work here, so much depth to the world but all of it shown rather than told.

This was a good fic. It was heartwarming, bittersweet, and sometimes funny. (Even in death, there is still gossip) It got a little abstract in this chapter. Interpreting what Remilia said, Madoka is just THAT important to the universe, with innumerable paths that sometimes and intersect and get VERY complicated.

You made the ending nice and open-ended yet complex with your author's notes. Also, YOU PULLED A BIOSHOCK INFINITE ON US! That isn't a bad thing per say, but you started talking about alternate timelines causing steam to come out my ears from my brain overheating and eventually exploding.

P.S. I started reading your first fic, but stopped when you made Yuka sadistic in perhaps the darkest way possible, which I personally don't agree with. I don't like super dark fics, unless dry humor is mixed in on a regular basis.

I guess the only thing I'm disappointed about this is the fact that all Mami's training was pretty much wasted. I was looking forward to seeing her interact with the rest of Gensokyo.

So they didn't have a chance more or less. They stil didn't know about Homura who's karmic's power level is only a stage under Madoka's - and has a power to destroy a timeline she didn't like.

while i think it is a good end. there are few things i don’t agree with.
first is satori and remi’s abilities. it’s too fanon, and their reactions are exagerated too. you made them look like humans with magic!
second is yukari being afraid. no need for explanation in why.
last (which sould probly be 1st) you merge their universe, right? if is, then yukari should already know, and doing something about it. and not just last minute call. BUT if not. then eiki shouldnt be alarmed in whats happening. So is yukari since it doesnt involve gensokyo.

Well, that was certainly abrupt. Buuuut I did love it. I have never actually watched much of Madoka, and actually lost interest in episode 4 (I dislike anime over manga), but I do know the gist of the series. I know of many little tidbits that link up to become a cohesive plot pathway for the series. I just know nothing beyond the beaten path. Anyways, that was a good ending, all things considered. I'm honestly a little curious as to which verse you specifically had in mind. You made it with all in mind, but there must be a specific one that you had in mind, not that it truly matters in the end. Anyways, you have once again proven yourself to be a great author! You're certainly one of my favorites. Which is about 30-40% due to the fact that I adore your version of satori. I love unique takes on things. I really should read your main story...

YES I thought this was over! Anyways, I can sort-of understand what's happening in the chapter - the timeloops don't affect Gensokyo, so there's a bunch of copies of souls of Mami and Sayaka and others, or something like that. It was a bit hard to follow, to be honest. If you really are ending it next chapter, will you still make a sequel? I really want to see the interactions between the other magical girls and the touhou cast (especially if Madokami and/or Akuma Homura get involved). Thanks for your work!
