AS chapter 37 . 7/14
Another well-done story :)

Out of everything, I think the best part in this story is Harry hearing about the prophecy – eleven is young, but since Voldemort had tried to poison him, it was helpful that he was forewarned before Voldemort came back to power.

I really like the fact that you’ve given Harry the ability to be talented both with Defense Against the Dark Arts and transfiguration (an Animagus at ELEVEN, way to go Harry).

I also enjoyed Draco’s transformation throughout this story as he truly began to step into the role that he was unwittingly set up for as a Gryffindor. You spending 2 chapters on Christmas break was a welcomed use of chapters because it continued to give us insight into Draco moving further away from his family’s values. I know I’m jumping ahead here, but in Intensity Dumbledore compares Draco to Sirius, and it’s interesting to see history repeat itself as a Potter continues to help a Malfoy/Black escape during the holidays and be a friend in general. It’s also heart-warming to see Sirius try to help Draco the best he can, becasue Sirius gets it. Also Draco’s friendship with the Weasleys is fun to watch develop as he identifies the twins by their freckles (a brilliant observation), semi-bonds with Ron over Scabbers, and then meets She-Weasley at the end. At the end of this story, it is sad but also necessary to notice that Draco seeks out Dobby more than anyone else in his family.

Blaise’s development too especially during his talks with Harry during detention and the again by the Mirror of Erised were really nice to read because it gives us another perspective on Blaise.

I also still laugh when I read the chapter when Harry tricks Sirius into thinking Hermione was a muggle; it’s fun to watch Harry really develop a friendship with her in muggle primary school of all places prior to Hogwarts. It’s also humerous to watch the twins learn who the Maurders are, and how they react to being at Grimmauld Place and also having Professor Moony. Also the line in chapter 28, when you mentioned Sirius learns not to underestimate Harry’s luck makes me laugh because it’s so true.

The veil storyline was sad as I did worry about what would happen to poor Harry’s custody, but I loved how Sirius had a moment of being reunited with James but only seeing Harry in James’ face. I’m hoping that by you pulling the veil in this early on in your series means we can skip Sirius and the veil in the fifth installment (I’m hoping you go through all the books because I enjoy your versions more than you know!).

Well done :)
Sandro chapter 37 . 6/14
Hello there,

I just wanted to wholeheartedly say thank you for spending your time, effort and (obviously) impressive talent to write these excellent stories!
I burned through Innocent and Initiate within a week (God bless holidays) and even though I am not a native English speaker it really felt like Harry Potter.

The changes you made are (in my opinion) all sensible and fit into the characters. I really enjoyed seeing Draco being put on the "right" path and the possibilities this offers for the future stories (I am open to anything apart from Draco and Ginny ending up together (which I am sort of afraid of because of you having them talk the way they did in the hospital wing)).
That being said, your overall ability to set up story lines and pay offs way in advance and having the patience to have characters develop naturally is really commendable and I was very eager to see where you were going to lead us.

The interactions between the characters often left me with a smile and I liked the banter between them. However, regarding that, I would also like to offer some constructive criticism: You express a lot of what is going on with characters on the non-verbal layer with their facial reactions. That is in itself not a bad thing but in a few scenes with three or more characters interacting at the same time it got a bit confusing for me.

Nothing that dulled the overall enthusiasm I have for your work, though, and I am looking forward to your follow-up parts!

All the best and thank you again

I just can't accept quirinus getting off easily... I just hope you had a nice comeback for him in future or suitable punishment .
Divys chapter 38 . 5/25
Hi, it was shorter and more predictable than Innocent (you know - the Troll, the Sorcerer's Stone and all these first-year-at-Hogwarts-things), but I enjoyed it as well and was surprised by Draco's Sorting and poisoned Snitch. I will never forget the scene with Sirius without a t-shirt - it was brilliant and I was laughing so hard:-)
I was so happy because of him and Marlen together and then so sad when he died... and so much relieved later:-)
Good job again, thank you for this good story.

I have to admit, I usually don't review prior to finishing an entire series, or catching up. But I did want to say that I so far enjoy your version of Dumbledore, and that he reminds me faintly of the Dumbledore portrayed in the short story "The Petrov Gambit" by OlegGunnarsson. I just thoroughly enjoy it when Dumbledore plays board/card games and generally is more or less the nice old man whose made many tough decisions rather than the hardened war veteran who will do what it takes "For The Greater Good" and just masquerades as the nice old man.

Anyways, back to me reading your story!

The first half of the chapter says that they were meeting in the Leaky Cauldron, but then it says the proprietor was Madam Rosmerta. Either they were in the Three Broomsticks, or the proprietor would be Tom.
