I just reread this for the millionth time and I just wanted to tell you YET AGAIN how much I adore this excellent piece of writing. You've captured their characters so perfectly in this and you've written their child versions so child-like yet undeniably 'them' (which is a really hard thing to pull off). My heart breaks every damn time along with theirs when I return to this story. Just wanted you to know that this will forever be one of my favorite fics in the universe of fan fiction. You are amazing.

This is such a beautiful, emotional, gut-wrenching, cry-inducing, amazing, incredible story. There's so much emotion here, and so many different types, and it was all portrayed wonderfully while still keeping the boys in character. I could definitely see both their viewpoints, you did an especially great job balancing that out. Loved it!

One word. Just one word because this left me speechless. PERFECT. You had me cry, and laugh and feel pity, a bit of embarrassment, shame and love for the characters. You made me go awww more times then I can count, contrasting it with making me sob into my pillow. You made my heart warm up just to shatter it in the next chapter, and by the time I have finished reading this, my heart probably broke more times than Sam's and Dean's put together throughout the whole show. There were moments when I couldn't wait to finish reading this, because you made me so desperate for a happy ending, and moments when I was about to be done with the story and there was nothing I wanted more than for it to go on. And I'm not just talking about the beauty of this whole idea and about the fact that this is way better than what the directors came up with and that I can't believe that this isn't how it went. I MEAN, COME ON! But I'm also talking about your awesome writing skills. You are extremely creative as well as very talented and I sincerely hope you continue writing. I LOVED this to the moon and back. You are a truly fan frickin tastic author. Great job and THANK YOU.
P.s: I do realize that this is a bit longer than one word, but I just had to say this. Hope you keep posting. And thank you for making me smile, I am not in a very good place right now and that's something I can't force myself to do most the time, but you had me clenching my sides more than I remember myself doing in a very long time. I just have to say...Sam and Deans hearts aren't the only ones that broke during this story. And I usually never review any story no matter how good but this one I just couldn't let go without saying anything. It was absolutely perfect in every way! I really hope you will write more especially a resolution for the Brother's keeper episode. I can't believe Dean would come that close to killing Sam and not feeling wrecked about it.
Anyways thank you so much for this one. It is truly unforgettable.

Actually, a few words.
1. That foreshadowing of Dean and the Mark of Cain. He, the moon, turns bloody for awhile, but re-emerges shiny and beautiful and unchanged where it counts the end.
2. The stars over the bed are just... just perfect. Perfect ending, perfect demonstration of love... like I said, perfect.
3. Realistic ending, not just happy ending, but at the same time, happy realistic ending.
4. He called him 'Sammy' again!

I just reread this for what has to be the one millionth time and it still makes me cry. Have I ever shared with you that this is probably amongst my top 3 fics of like - ALL TIME - if not /the/ single best piece of fan fiction I have ever read. I just love the originality of it and how you manage to build up so much emotion and tension until it all comes to a head in the final chapters... ahhhh and then the fallout! The show and sometimes fanfics too, give us a lot of really good build-up, but not enough resolution and I feel like you've absolutely mastered the art of resolution here. It all just ends in this one big epic climax of brotherly love and codependence and forgiveness and acceptance and gahhhh - I have so much respect for you for this piece of once-in-a-lifetime art you created :)

Hi, how are you? I loved your story! I was only going to put in my favorites because it is an old story and many writers are no longer on the site until I read your note and decided to leave a comment. I already said that I loved the story, now I will tell the reasons. First of all, you write very well, with rhythm, and you have an excellent understanding of the characters. Second, I was very upset about this season, I understand Dean's motives, but Sammy already carries a lot of guilt, so getting angry with Dean was normal because he knew his body had killed Kevin, even if he was not in control, he was being consumed with guilt. And I found that the program did not deal well with this subject, so I loved that you showed how it could have been, I like your version much more than the program. Third: the mini Sammy was so cute! I love flashback episodes showing the boys as children, even if they make me extremely angry with John! Congratulations! I've added this story to my favorites and I'm following you, so I do not miss any of your stories and read all that you've posted. Good night!
