The beginning didn't sound like a john Flanagan type cause he spends a lil more detail into it. Your main idea is good... And I dunno if a lot of women were taken with the temujai. But it's good

Just a suggestion: Try to keep the point of view consistent throughout the chapter (especially for shorter ones)

I love the whole kinda picking up where Flanagan left off and I'm excited since I want the temujai to be owned and alyss and will to be together :)
