uh... this was great. really, really, great. i've never actually been able to find a fic with this particular premise before, despite my trying. the fact that one actually exists just makes me ecstatic. i'm especially happy that when i found it, it wasnt only not shit, it was *good*. jus kind of sad that it appears to be dead... but it was still a great read.

I know its hard trying to write the characters, but you shouldn't give up. Compare to the other fan fiction of Madoka that I seen, I find this as one of the few that is new, unique, and enjoyable. Heck, I want the five main characters dolls after reading this story.

I'm not one to write reviews, but I had to speak up here. I can't tell you what your fanfic should be, but I warn you against giving up. I did that six years ago (man I feel old) and I regret it. Even though I've improved in the years since and I still have ideas for stories, I just can't bring myself to write. It could happen to you, so be careful when making that choice.
Personally, I love this story. It's a fun idea and I keep wanting to see more as the story goes on. Maybe some other person COULD write the thing better, but so what? You're the one who actually bothered to do the thing, so take pride in that.
The reason Inika feels bland, perhaps, is because he is an outsider. He doesn't really have any relationship with the girls other than having them in his home, so his function in the story is at best commentary and at worst plot device. If you wish to keep him, force him into a situation where he and one of the girls are alone and have them build a rapport. That would be his entryway into the story. Alternatively, his outside-looking-in perspective on the events could cause him to ultimately serve an antagonistic role. Feeling somewhat left out of this enormous, awesome event that is occurring in his bedroom, he may engage in selfish, cruel acts that hinder the girls' progress towards returning home.
Those are just some ideas. I hope that I was of some help.

Well, I liked this fic when I was reading the reactions of Madoka and the gang to their respective shows. I understand writing that could be difficult, but why restrict their reactions to just their show?

There's another fic where they watch Fate/Zero, why not make something like that, only have them watch some other anime after they're done with the Madoka franchise?

I'd personally like to see their reactions to Code Geass or Gurren Lagann. Ooh, ESPECIALLY Gurren Lagann!

Honestly, the POV shift is not an unwelcome change, but Inika's POV isn't a bad thing either. His POV adds a special sort of touch to the story, a very personal POV from an ordinary person like some of us viewers. Push on, Gonstika, if not for us readers, then do it for yourself and your obligation to complete this fic.

As for the options...just don't do the last option. Please don't. And regarding the first two...I know it may be hard, but you should use both the POVs of Inika and the Puella Magi Quintet. My advice is that if you ever get stuck with either side, make something unexpected happen. The possibilities to advance a story off of an idiosyncratic situation are nigh-limitless.

I like what you have going on here and I can't wait till the next chapter though I have a few complaints. The shortness of each chapter makes every event seem too rushed especially this one. But that's your call not mine just a little nitpick if you will, well anyway stay frosty.

Holy crap! They're all going to flip their shiznit when they see Rebellion (particularly the ending)! Heck, I think episode 3 and 8 will set them off, too. I can't wait to see their reactions!

It's a very interesting concept that you've got here, and I must say that I'm looking forward to see where it's going :)

I will say, as you asked if characters were becoming OOC, that you might want to stay away from evil Kyubey; at the moment he seems fine, but I could see him becoming evil later on which is technically OOC because he's amoral. Like I said, this isn't a problem yet but a lot of writers fall into the trap of making the incubator seem like Mr Dastardly von Evil even though what he's doing is technically good.
