That's pretty dark for a kid's movie full of candy people. It was really well written, anyway.

And made me tear up a little.

poor taffyta, i, for one, don't think she is just fine...something's going on with her, something not good...someone help her before this goes too far...

Ouch my feels. Just wow. Wow.

Ah poor Taffyta, so conflicted with things she shouldn't wish for but does, as well as fears that won't go away. This was short and bleak and written in a matter of fact way, which perfectly fits what Taffyta is thinking at times - there's a problem but don't dwell on it just act, and it's not as if I have a problem either. I think she would have deep conflicts during the new rule of the game, and this is a sad but very nicely written possibility of how she'd deal with them.

Heh... I never really liked Taffyta, but now I'm sad. I just want to be her friend now.

This was eerie, and sad, but what makes it sadder is that there are people who do this, who feel this is the only way to rid themselves of their sadness and other darker emotions. And other people are none the wiser. I was expecting someone like Vanellope to catch her in the act, or for her to accidentally cut too deep and end up dying, but this worked just as well. Her feelings all make sense, and it makes me feel bad for this little strawberry themed racer.
This is a great fiftieth story. Job well done. :)
